Alpha Male Stand Alone Supp?

New here and new to supps, trying to understant testosterone supps.
Is Alpha Male a stand alone supp, should you take something else with it to offset any effects?

Also does anyone know about Superdrol-NG?

In some readings I seen where your best off when your body has some sort of normal balance when taking this stuff.
Does that sound right?

I doubt your gonna need to worry about any sides with any legal test boosters or tribulus. Youre not going to suppress any natural hormones and your not gonna elevate your test levels that much over normal.

Actually, tribulus (found in TRIBEX and Alpha Male, for the OP) will suppress T production. Thats why you “cycle” it in different patterns. 5 on, 2 off as an example.

Its also why Cy Willson recommends taking abotu two weeks off after using a certain suppliment for 12 weeks in a row.

I have never heard of this, and it seems to contradict the very mechanism by which tribulus results in higher testosterone production.

Care to share where you’ve seen this information, rrjc?

If I am right, tribulus is supposed to increase luteinizing hormone, which would affect your leydig cells in the testes. Hence boosting test levels, not replaceing them. I can see how it would down regulate your leydig cells if anything. Your not adding any test, so I dont see how you suppress your own test. Also for the most part, tribulus has been shown to do pretty much jack shit in actual clinical tests as far as increasing test levels. That I do know, whether or not my train of thought about the actual physiological workings of tribulus are right I dont know.

Um, no. Tribulus enhances your own testosterone production. Nobody’s going to want to take a testosterone suppressor.

You cycle thing like that in order to prevent a possible “tolerance” to it and keep it’s effectiveness at a maximal level.

I cycle TRIBEX and Alpha Male like Cy recommends. I take it every day, with a few weeks off after continued use.

Doh, I never answered the original question, sorry!

You don’t need to take anything else with Alpha Male. Although REZ-V and Alpha Male make a great stack.

Great post. The breaks as SBT said are to keep the test boosting effect strong. If you stood on it indefinitely the strong stimulating effect would decrease. However, no suppression at all would occur. A great stack for those looking to maximize naturally high Testosterone production and promote overall good health would be Alpha Male, REZ-V, ZMA, and Flameout.

TRIBEX is not suppressive, just the opposite in fact. The short cycling recommendations are to prevent the HPA from becoming desensitized to the herb. Short cycles will raise testosterone to supraphysiological levels according to Tim’s write-up. Chronic usage will result in high levels relative to what your body is capable of producing.
