Uh, mind telling me how you found the new Alpha Male? I’m still seeing the old stuff. Selling at $125AU.

i just calculated buying Surge to australia. If you buy 4 tubs, it works out to be about $45AUS including shipping, which is awesome compared to $65 + ?? for shipping from Biotest australia[/quote]
Be carful with protein supplements, customs can ask for import certificates/permits for goods containing certain proteins. I’ve had stuff seized in the past.

Has anybody else had an issue with buying protein supps to Australia? Because i don’t think it’ll be worthwhile buying in Aus, as it only has 10 servings and costs about $70 something per tub after shipping

Theres been issues of late, ALOT of dairy (read: whey) products have been seized lately. im not 100%, apparently some major brands have been getting through, but 20lbs pounds of whey havent been getting through…
Interestingly enough, a competitors fat burner, that contains Yohimbine HCL, hasnt been seized from anyone whose posted about what can be shipped to oz…

Isn’t the guy who runs Myopure (Where I used to buy Metabolic Drive from) a Doctor? Having said that though, I guess they still won’t let him import a huge batch of HRX for sale to random people…

That sucks…

yeah mate, he sells Biotest too. i posted over at his forum, havent checked for a reply yet…
Maybe we should just wait to see if the guy from Biotest australia can order his. After all, he obviously gets in fairly large orders for resale and would have a history with the import restrictions of customs and the paper work involved. So obviously he will have an easier time then us. Then just buy it from him, might be a little bit more expensive but if ours gets seized…
i work in quarantine in australia - yes my work are the ones that seize all that protein powder through the mail centre.
ive spoke to the people there, looked up our database etc, and this is what i found:
casein/whey protein powders from america are FINE, HOWEVER: it is seized if it has any digestive/protein enzymes in the ingredients.
apparently there is a room full of protein powder in sydneys mail centre, and they destroy the lot of it every month. optimum whey is the most popular, and gets seized on a daily basis
hope this helps…look at the ingredients list on Grow! and Metabloic Drive and u will prob be able to tell if it will be allowed or not

thats a good piece of information, SURGE doesn’t seem to have that many ingredients and looks to be fine then?
Today I picked up my delivery of supps from the post office that I ordered directly from
T-Nation.
My order included new Alpha Male, Spike, ZMA and Metabolic Drive Bars. The package was opened for inspection by Customs but there was no worries with the order. Certainly saved me some bucks over buying locally as well.
I know that there are some concerns about the new HOT-ROX getting into the country but I cant help with this as I didnt order any.
I cant wait to try the Metabolic Drive Bars as I have heard so much about them but never tried one.
yeah i did, i live in sydney and i got it on monday, and the box it was in was opened and inspected by customs? so i don’t know whats going on, i ordered more so hopefully i’ll know if it was a fluke or not next mon/tues. it takes a week for my stuff to get from the US to here
Hey guys, i was looking at ordering some of the new Alpha Male to Sydney within the next few weeks. I know some of you HAVE gotten it in. Have any of you had any issues with it at all? Pulled up for any reason?

I just ordeed some protein from Biotest using FedEx (FedEx was the cheaper option). I ordered Metabolic Drive Low Carb and Complete plus Surge. After adding shipping to the cost of the products, Metabolic Drive Low Carb cost AUS$50, Complete AUS$52 and Surge AUS$55.
Please note for personal use you must keep the whole order to under 10kg (22lb) when importing dairy protein supps. Here are some weights for the products I ordered:
My 18.5lb (8.5kg) shipment cost me US$86 to ship via FedEx. I could’ve ordered 1 more tub but I was making sure I kept the order under 10kg. It took 11 days to get delivered but that’s because AQIS took their time in inspecting the goods (for whatever reason).
Also FedEx wanted me to email them a copy of invoice plus ingredients (which I gave them the direct links to).
NOTE: AQIS opened my package up for inspection so make sure you don’t order any illegal stuff. Get the illegal stuff from the ‘other’ store.
Make sure you don’t get shafted by FedEx, there are no Customs charges if the goods cost less than $1000. They said they might be some quarantine charges but didn’t get charged any (not sure why they would want to charge me extra, AQIS have their officers there at FedEx, it’s not like the goods are being shipped elsewhere for inspection).
Anyway hope this helps out some fellow Aussies wanting to order direct from Biotest. It does work out cheaper but you have to buy close to the 10kg mark to make it worthwhile.
