Aussies and Biotest Purchases

Hey fellow aussies,

Thinking of buying supplements from this site as opposed to the Australian site, purely to save some cash. I recently purchased a significant amount from the OZ Biotest site at ridiculously expensive prices. Just curious if any of you have ordered any of the following without customs dramas/seizures (or any others):

Flameout
Metabolic Drive
Surge Recovery
L-Luecine
ZMA
Z-12

A reply would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

the luecine is rather cheap for aussie prices. Gnc charge $95. It’s all rather cheap for the quility. I’ll give them that. Have you taken into account the shipping and exchange rate? Flameout and Metabolic Drive seem abit up there in price on the aussie website, but dude when you live on the other side of the world, get used to it.

Hello fellow Australian,
nowadays i buy all my Biotest products from this website nothing has ever been seized by customs,
what does happen is for me anyhow is either customs or fedex will contact you via phonecall and/or email when the shipment gets to customs because they want to know what it is then i just send them an email copy of my receipt which you get emailed a copy of when you order plus a list of the ingredients of the supplements which i just copy of the website and paste in the email.

then customs lets it through no problems it takes maybe 5-10 minutes to make the email its very easy, if you decide to order pm/message or email me if you need help with the email and i can help its very easy.
ive odererd everything except Anaconda and MAG-10. no problem. just got a shipment again today
.

I’m basing my view of the expense from my last purchase which, if I had purchased from the US site, would have saved me more than $500 (even with shipping). Such a saving is significant for me. I guess if I’m buying a few items, then the aussie site would be fine, but I need lots of MD, Surge and Flameout as these are going to likely be long term fixtures for me (have been getting kick arse results with these!).

Cheers

Thanks for the advice gregoryjimenez, appreciate it.

I know this is an old thread but thought it was relevant.

I just received notice of my order being delayed in customs (no biggie). Normally, they contact me and get me to send the info through, but this time it says no action required on my part, the shipper (Biotest) will provide the ingredient lists.

Anyone had any experiences with things happening this way?

I think Biotest Australia probably set their prices when the dollar was around 62 cents to the greenback a couple years back and they haven’t changed. Now our dollar is worth more than the greenback they are seriously overpriced. I don’t think those in the USA would like paying 100 bucks ($101 US as of today) for a bottle of Alpha Male. Luckily I’m back and forth a bit so I just stock up while I’m there.

Theres a few online sites that sell Biotest cheaper then Biotest Australia they are based out of Melbourne hope this helps.

X2

I did post a link but i think it got deleted

Just to resolve my question. FedEx got in touch with me after a few days. I sorted it and package arrived today. Guess what ever customer service email gets listed on the form from Biotest isn’t manned or something.

Funny thing was that customs opened the box. Why not just read the labels as opposed to having me email the labels to them?

I purchased Surge and Metabolic Drive from the US web site recently and just received them today. When the package reached aussie customs fedex contacted me to e-mail the product ingredient info and receipt. I did this and the package was released the next day. The customs people have attached to the parcel an import conditions document with sections highlighted. It states that the amount imported must be no more than 3 months supply determined by the label dose, letter from a health provider or statutory declaration.

I ordered 18 tubs which is about 6 months for me. The customs people must have given me the benifit of the doubt. Next time I’ll buy half that amount. I saved over $400 compared with the aussie website and will definately do the same next time.
