HA ! The one we had before this one was like you either had it on loooooooooow or HIGH with nothing in between. This one isn’t too bad…I’d prefer gas, but it’d cost me an arm and leg.

Monthly Numbers:

Weight: up a pound from 196 to 197

Abs: Down 1/2 inch from 36.5 to 36

Chest: Down a friggin’ inch from 44 to 43

Arm: Down .2 inch from 16.2 to 16

Bodyfat: Down .7% from 17.7 to 17. I lost 2 mm from my tricep and 2 from my back while adding 1 mm to my gut.

Fat lbs: Down from 34.69 to 33.49 - drop of 1.2 lbs

LBM: Up from 161.31 to 163.51 - gain of 2.2 lbs.

All in all I ain’t feeling too bad. I’m guessing my weight gain is taking place in my legs and mid and lower back as she doesn’t measure those areas and I been hitting those body parts harder than ever before.

Today’s Work:

I dragged my lazy self to work even though I’m off today. Yes…I is a hero. I took a beating from my “10 sets of 10 squats” as I’ve been doing those in the a.m. and then taking break for 3 hours before heading back for the rest of the workout.

10 sets of 10 squats with 135 lbs

  • First 4 sets = 60 seconds rest
  • Next 3 sets = 90 seconds
  • Next 1 = 120 seconds
  • Next 1 = 180 seconds

Yes…I realize that only equals 9. I pulled up on the last set as my form was sucking and I’m weak and have never kissed a girl.

Pullups: 2 sets of 15 (2nd set 15th was kinda weak)

Bent Rows: 115120
110120

Calf Raises: 415165

Militaries: 215120 (2nd set 15th was kinda weak)

So, I skipped my bench, upright rows and curls, but I will live to lift another day.

Music: Def Lepard with only one headphone working.
Mood: Pretty good after I discovered why the music sounded so weird.

Happy Easter
Lift Hoppier.

I saw Def Leppard in concert twice.

Let me rephrase that-- I went to see Tesla once and Queensryche once. Both times I suffered through Def Leppard who happened to be headlining each concert

I kid, I kid… Well, sort of. Everything after Pyromania was, how do you say in English… LAME!

Not a Mutt Lange fan? I would love to see all three.

Nice thread. Great workout today too. I love squats, and I rarely have to wait for the rack, unless someone is doing curls. Your epircurail (sp) choices are so much different than mine, but I do think you “do it right” Off the the gym myself. Have a Great Easter.

Hysteria came out when I was a senior in High School, so I listen to it for the nostalgia factor…all except Pour Some Sugar On Me…way too overplayed…everything after Hysteria though is embarrasingly ghey…oh…except the covers album they did…I thought that was pretty cool.

Thanks.

Yesterday’s Work:

A.M.
10 sets of 10 deadlifts with 155 lbs, 60 seconds in between sets.

P.M.
Pullups - 5525lbs

Bent Rows - 55185

Front Squats - 55185

Bench - 25250 (Quit after 2 sets. Left shoulder all clickity click and right pec still felt funny. Think I’m going to reduce the weight, or sets, or reduce something.)

D-Bell Bulgarian Squats - 5550

Called it quits after this. Didn’t have time for Militaries, upright rows and straight bar curls. Well…time was an issue, but I was sucking wind and beat. Haven’t been able to get the timing down for my 10*10 of squats and deads in the morning and then full body in the afternoon.

Yesterday’s 4-15 work:

Run 1/4 mile
Foam Roller 10 minutes
3 sets of planks - 60 second holds followed by 60 seconds rest

All sets, 3*8 with 90 seconds in between sets unless otherwise noted.

Overhead Squats: 65lbs

Bent Rows: 155

Elevated D-lifts: 185

D-bell Bench:70
supersetted with pullups: 10lbs

DB Revers lunges from deficit: 35

Militaries: 28145
14145 - died on 3rd set

Walking Lunges: 2835

Shoulder Moulders: 3815

Music - RUSH and then Purple Rain for the lunges and shoulder work…surprisingly there were 3 ‘above average’ looking girls in the gym today…for some reason I thought Purple Rain would be appropriate.

One small step for Sen, One giant leap for…well…no one actually:

A.M. workout

10 sets of 10 squats with 135 lbs with 60 seconds in between sets. I came up slow and kinda rest/paused the last 3 reps on the 10th set, but I’m gonna count it and add 5 lbs next week.

Hit 'em hard ya old bastards. I’m outta here. 2 outta 3 kids are home sick so i’m pussing out of my P.M. workout.

Coaching 3 soccer games this weekend, so I’ll get in some sprints and other gpp.

Hey meng nice work,

10x10 is nuts
have fun playing soccer,
hope the kids get better, and purple rain?

I need to send you some hip hop or something.

kmc

The 10x10’s look brutal!

They suck, but I think they’re helping.

Good work on the music selection. Oh, and the lifting looked good, too.
