Barbell complexes are pretty tough.
I have done the bloody barbell complex a few times,
I think when I got to the 2nd round of db I was close to being done, myself.
I don’t blame you for passing on the game party bus.
your pics would be all over the interet

Got in a set of sprints yesterday. Gonna go again today and try to get in a set every day actually.
My brother invited me to the army nave game, but I turned him down. His law firm gets a big bus and apparently it’s a drunken feast. I’d love to go…kinda…but…I know I’ll end up passed out drunk after chugging down 3 or 4 dozen chicken wings, pizza, sausage, etc…I’ll get there next year when they’ll hopefully play in baltimore.

I went to the AF Navy game this year. I ate almost exactly the same shit. LOL.
What type of sprints are you doing? Distance, rest, etc. Just curious dude.

I sprint about 40 yards, then walk back to the starting line. I’ll time how long it takes me to walk back today. Guessing about 30-45 seconds. I run 10 per session.
Diet was pretty good last week. No booze except 3 small sips of scotch yesterday. I’ll post pics of the bottle when I get home. 12 year old something or other. Really good.
Only non-clean thing I ate all week was a bacon cheeseburger meatloaf last night and a small taste of a red velvet cake She Say and the Saysters cooked up.
Oh yeah…I had some salami on Saturday, but then puked it up like an hour later and then slept from around noon until five. Not sure what was wrong with the salami, but throwing up sucks.

Question on Dead Lift Form:
I’m working on sitting back more before I pull. I find this puts the bar in much closer contact with my shins. Is it fair to say using good form results in ‘dragging’ the bar up your shins?
yup. Or close enough to it. Isn’t a session goes by I don’t take some skin off.
I have used clip-on soccer shin pads. They work great and you can take them off between sets. They sell some pretty cool looking one as well. Not that I’m a whimp and can’t handle a bar drag. It’s the blood unhealthy thing now a days!

I used some shin pads on Friday. Felt pretty good.
I’ve been meaning to get some food porn out there. We had breakfast for dinner last night. I got quite a bit of sausage with the hog, so we’ve been doing eggs and sausage and pancakes about once a week for dinner. Last night She Say brewed up some Eggs Benedict.
Cook at 375 uncovered with about 3/4 cup of lime juice in the pan for about a half hour…take out add about a cup of water and 3 TBSP of vinegar (white or apple cider) cover roast with aluminum foil…roast until it’s about 135 degrees (45 minutes more for the one in the pic)…serve with yummy mashed garlic cauliflower and salad.
