This was one of many training sessions that I got in a “past” zone. Sometimes I go way back and others not as far. We finally got the speaks hooked up in basement so Ill be playing all the oldies but goodies. Had a little Eagles on and Santana too.

Thought the BB sh pr was the dog jumping on my lap mid set licking me, but I erased wrong one.

Gorgeous hair you have! Looking very good, I must say.

I’m glad you videod the PBN because I didn’t know what that stood for.

Wanted to let you know that I’m about a month in with the primrose oil. And feeling really good. Not as ridiculously emotional. So odd to me since I used to be such the stoic and never, ever cried. And then I hit my 40s. Ha! Don’t know that I can attribute the mood changes totally to that, but it’s the only variable that’s changed in my supplement cocktail. Thanks for that recommendation.

Glad its working for you snap. Ive heard good things about it from so many, I figured its got to be good.
Not sure the amount you are taking, but I am usually up around 2500 mg. Ill use it for my fat in a meal.
I do forget to take sometimes.

Thanks on the hair, longest its ever been. I like how it feels as much as how its looking.

After this volume Im hoping it pays in some good numbers soon. Ive been in a “dont know what to expect” mode, so Im not getting my hopes up.

Trying to type and watch football, this red zone thing makes it impossible to leave… Giants, Cardinals and Packers Im covered.

More cheescake photos! Upscale, a guy can only take so much!

So now who is ‘Ripped and ready’?

Nice work in here Up!

Do you ‘climb,’ those hills off the seat?
I really love and appreciate biking for the muscle maintaining/building benefits!

Cav Im a cheesecake for sure! Plus it takes up good space and Im not sure ill keep logging when this one fills up, I go back and forth.

Ddot hehe, thanks! be interested to see what you do now…ripped is swaeet but I vote for bulking up a bit again, you call it soft I call it manly-man.

Mim oops I answers you in your log…I mainly sit to really get the hamstrings.I do stand now and then, but my glutes love to take over all the agony.

I can not type today, or think, maybe both sit on hills and grind-em out burns the crap out of my quads…geesh

Oh come on, all the cool kids keep logs. That time under tension for squats looked nasty.

Well then, this full on beard I’m sporting in combination with the scale moving in a northerly direction has me in ‘manly-man’ mode.

I can tell my endurance is getting way better, but it didnt help the incredible burn factor, even with a measly 65#s.

Ddot Im sure packing some on, cause I know your not going to be reckless about it, you will only unveil a even better package, you know how to dial it in!

For me I do too, its the packing it on the right way I stumble along.

abs/core

weight vest knee rollouts 2x5 (10#)

weighted planks (just vest) not long, forgot how i think they bore me.

v- ups drop set 15,10,5 x 10 reps weight straight arm behind head, no touching weight down, nice pulse at the top

then just some holds feet elevated back arched, till the trembling is so hard you swear you can hear it.
Did this hold 4 times threw, low back, abs feel good and i do believe the weighted planks were toying with my shoulders.

Drew Tretick Romantica mostly violin, which with the music all soft into a high pitch leading up to the collapse is amazing.

HAHA! Love it! Nerds unite!

whistles Nice erectors there, miss wink

Looking gorgeous as always, Up! And your hair is seriously amazing. This is so silly, but I always wondered who cuts a hair dresser’s hair? lol! No, seriously. Who?!?

Your workouts put me to shame, great work in here. And I LOVE “unplanned insanity moments” HAH! Those are the best.

Your leg sesh is fantastic! I also like that legs under tension bit. My Oly coach used to make me do those. Killer quad burn! And then followed by a trail ride? Damn! You’re killing it. Good stuff!

So yeah, I think I am going to try the ab rollouts, esp if you recommend them! They seem to put thickness in the rectus abdominis? (takes off nerd glasses) so I think that would be fine for my waist paranoia. lol! I just looked em up for “proper form” - knowing me I’ll probably hurt myself with this…wish me luck!

Thanks for the “erector” love, kinda why along with the hair swoosh i thought the pic was cool.

Yes, the rollouts will mainly give the pop effect, with a little more weight on me Im thinking I better dial in some core work. Looking back at pics my waist has definitely thickened up, so yea Im kinda leary and stay away from the twisting moves.Shame too cause I can do a mean drop set of marathon mason twists, insert sigh.

Initiate the hips first…personally I like my ab wheels i made, I like one in each hand…I know try hard to keep your mind on what Im talking about, hehe, that way I can go wider, narrow, put them together etc, you will feel it in shoulders, although with the vest i was def feeling some lower back action. Seems as though the abs arent getting hit sometimes, but no fear, they are.I still like some other things i do because i feel the abs shake and tremble.

breakfast - 4 egg whites, 1 whole egg, splashed with some hot sauce, 1/2c dry oats some raisins, fresh cranberries a couple walnuts, and a dab of milk

EDIT hair cutting question, lots of times we do our own, but I totally prefer the pamper me up way (another stylist) In AZ we would stay late at night and do each others hair, then hit the bar 20 feet away, not necessarily in that order ha or if we both had a gap (not very likely we would do it during day)we were actually trying to book ourselves in, getting pissed our hair looks like crap while the ladiez left all gorgeous.
Sadly I havent had a HC since moving.

You sure bust a lot of butt! So impressed with your progress, one of my favorite logs…especially when you post pictures of food.

Excellent push press discussion (I’m late to the game, sorry for dragging it back up). I think that your elbows are coming up a bit too much. This is obviously an extreme example but in this vid his elbows are nowhere the angle that yours are:

This article by Bill Starr also mentions bringing in your elbows close to your lats. Mind you this is for the olympic press but I think it’s relevant to the push press too.

I think you’ll generate a lot more power and will be able to move a lot more weight if you bring your elbows down a bit.

james

Good points James. Kind of why i like the push press behind head, not so much to think about lol.
UP that breakfast looks really good!

I am working enough so I cant beat myself up for not going hard enough, thanks.

Just for you Dday lol lunch, then 1 scoop surge before training…a little gorgonzola on the chicken gave it just enough bam for me :stuck_out_tongue:

James Your so right, and I have PP today (any minute) Ill be keeping the elbows down (has to be easier) and using the lats for more power. AND its never too late to stop in

A little of this to keep it interesting.
