Aha! Here:

Check out lexy’s first lifts when she does the PP. I think she does real solid work getting the elbows up before she explodes, as well as getting her head through her arms when she finishes.

Can’t wait to see how you progress!

DEAR LORD NULL …Please tell me your suggesting its Mashys daughter.lol UGH!
STOP LAUGHING G!!

Thanks for the vid!
Love your set up for a squat rack replacement.
My son <15>, can’t get to lifting gym much with his schedule and needs a way to set up for squats. I think I could figure out a way to clone your set up at home…

ps. congrats on raising your daughter to accept the realities of physical culture as opposed to the culturally dominate myths. I suppose it is a matter of her seeing your example for herself. I will show my daughter <11> this vid of lexy… Vids of other T-Nation ladies lifts has got her interested…

Thanks!
Well, you hottie, you! I’m loving all the pictures and video in here. Barbell hip thrusts are back in my rotation now, too. I’d forgotten how hard they are to lock out and hold at the top. Yikes!
Yea its nice to throw in new/old things and see if any changes occur.Even if by changes I mean ‘keep it interesting’

Totally thought of you while dressing the other day. I mentioned still fitting in my 27s…didnt think I cared much but realized all my really sexy jeans are the 27s, be a fortune to replace. So I will continue to wiggle and jam myself in :stuck_out_tongue:

Null why not make ? 2 buckets of concrete etc…this one looks good.

Word. There is no way I could afford to replace my stupid-expensive jeans and workout wear if I changed sizes. Just another aspect to riding the vanity train.

That I can do…

We have a little over 200, so that’s good for rep work for him…
Besides I’d be concerned about mush more then 200 on top of anything I put together…

Null me no speak Greek?

AM I the only one who gets sweaty palms before a leg training session? I think the thought of BSS

on tired legs had me a bit worked up.

Anyway got a little off track, but I hung with it. I now have a new dread anyway, its called the Hack Squat machine. Freakin A I am a little weakling I tell ya! I am glad to see where my really weak points are though.

Hack squat close stance 50# 3 sets of 8-12 YES I should go a little bit lower but wasnt happening, I flirted with parallel, hitting it some, sad but true.

single leg ext —> these are finally feeling better and Im able to hold at the top, alt legs no rest between
3x8

leg press close stance 140x10, 180 2x8, 160 x10, 150 x 12

GMs 80/10, 85/8, 90/6, 95/6, 100/6, 85/8 was done. kept a great arch, trying not to go sooo far back with hips , although I feelz it good that way.

walking lunges close stance, straps 35s 10 each leg/touch, then tried the Barbell ohh I liked it, till I racked it on my whittle finger and got a boo-boo 70 2x10 each leg knee touching

heel raise 50/2x15 1x13

then tried the cable pull thrus just couldnt get the burn i was after(yea, needed lower or something, just wasnt right)

cable kick backs, kept arch- whoa burn, 60 3x12 love these

leg curl 3x8 50

Ended with Bike sprints 1 min sprint 1 min rest 8 sprints, thought about 10, changed mind at set 3 lol

i think i’m older than Masch so it would be very odd indeed if I was her daughter lolz.

I think a strict military press is an overhead press with no leg drive done with the heels together. i think i read that somewhere… but i don’t know.

nice discussion germanone.

sometimes my tummy feels a little sick before squats upscale…

apparently those blocks (the squat rack alternative) are jerk blocks. i don’t see the point of them myself because i’m not sure who is the right height for them… i think the idea is you can practice jerks and dump the bar on the blocks instead of needing to fetch it off the floor or lower / slam it down on your shoulders.

i’ve seen better ones that are stackable so you can use them for rack pulls to pulls from the hang to the rack position no matter what height you are. i’d mightily love some of them.

Nothing much to report…abs, rolling, cooking. In that order.

Amazing what cleaning up the diet can do … just need to be sure I still have some discipline.
