Upscale, are you aware that you just might be (it’s a possibility), uh, you know, turning into a (must I say it) . . . bodybuilder?[/quote]

Figure athlete i think is the description cav…

And what a fine figure indeed !!

Guys you are embarrassing me…Im so far from either one of those. But I guess at my age I will take what I get. I think I just look a bit bigger when im pumped up, otherwise Im kinda tiny.

You’re doomed. Any gal who looks at those muscles and thinks she’s “kinda tiny” has a bodybuilder inside screaming to come out. Or at least a figure athlete.

Hav you thought about having a professional photo shoot done. ? seriously now !

Only after i realize i didnt crop out a scrunchy tired face, lol seriously though only if it was NLMain hahaha ok- no I havent.

It wasnt the slightly goofy expression !! , i was thinking that you would look awesome shot by a professional who understands the whole bb/figure athlete genre.

Up, gorgeous, gorgeous! And your face is stunning!

Guns are poppin’ and that hip-dip is something to covet. Great work getting those muscles while keeping lean. That there is the golden ticket that everyone strives for (and that’s still elusive to me!). Nice work!

Anyways, great upper sesh. I find benching impossible, so kudos to you!

What’s the bbpbh - barebell push behind the head? Lol!

And yeah, pushups are hard like ALL THE TIME! I used to be a little pushup queen and would cycle tons of different kinds of pushups (so many varieties!) but I’ve detrained them completely since the ACL tear. Now I’m just doing them strict military style and they are so effing hard!! Love them tho.

Have you seen this site? Stole tons of ideas from them:

But the atlas pushup is one of my all time faves (its in the link in there too i think) - talk about a mega pump! Yeah buddy!

Here’s a demo for the curious

^ um…also, fyi, you don’t have to be 5 feet in the air like that girl to do them. HAHAHA! WTF?

Add’s a certain danger element don’t you think? I wonder how long ittook her to get in positon? LOL

BN is right, I don’t know if your the competitive sort but if you are you should consider doing a figure comp.

I’d fall on my face.

…I always did think the little glass heels were cool. I honestly may have considered it if
I was doing what i am doing but it was 10 or more years ago. Your all too kind. Ive seen those bodies and I would not even be close, more shoulder much more leg etc etc. I could easily get consumed by it all. I think when I was stricter with my diet , it was harder on the family then it was on me. Im not saying I wouldnt love the body of said figure girl, and I do train to look good nakkid, but…lots more tweaking needs to happen.

Mash your fav link wouldnt play but im assuming its the same as this one? going deeper like that really hits more chest? ouch.Doing p90x they had a lot of pushups, I got really good at them. Totally different doing any accessory work after a big lift.Probably why even though my lifts have gone up a bit my accessory work not so much, it always feels killer, very humbling.

Colin I think they were going for the dramatics, right up my alley. I always stare at your avatar, intriguing for some reason.

CAV I am not in denial, maybe tiny was a bad choice of words

BN and Joe well if I fall off my bike and hit my head so hard I wake up thinking “lights, stage and bikini bite”, Ill let ya know

Mim you know I do end up face down when pushing for more Push up reps, I can totally see a face plant!

Mash…um speaking of gorgeous  yea that was behind head…Ill have to stop being ignorant and ask what the hell its supposed to do for me lol Im feeling the upper today, think the holds really get me.

I’m learning a lot from this thread -Atlas pushups (Atlas shrugged?), hip dip, bikini bite… LOL.

Hubba, hubba Up, and that’s all I have to say about that.

 Hubba Hubba hehe

And therein lies a huge difference between us.

You’re looking great. I’m always checking your log for new ideas since I tend to get stuck in the three-lift rut. A rut I love, I must admit.

Ahhh shucks, Thanks for the Props. I have a weigh in scheduled for today hoping for 11% BF so I can start thinking about lifting heavy things again instead of all this cardio i am doing…

Hey Up congratulations on the reps!!! Awesome…I think you could have gotten another 2 in that 10 secs which really means 3 for you lol. I felt bad about the dog but she so wanted to be part of what you were doing

Well I get a bit bored and seem to want to change it up, Ive had to learn that whatever

I am seeing “today” was from the training secession 4-6 weeks ago, and being a instant gratification type, this is hard to wrap my head around.

I like having the variety in my training. Going to do some BB stuff in a couple months, will be kinda fun brutalizing a body part not an entire body HA!

Colin whoa thats some low BF Ill have to come checck out your pics!

G- you just want to be sure Im not getting too comfortable, huh?!!
