All Show and No Go

KMC well the boxes and organizing/cleaning won so far today. I start getting overwhelmed when
I see those nasty brown square things taking over a room.

DDAY that would be a turkey burger, I use gourmet burger by Weber and grill mates hamburger, i also stuff in some creamy horseradish … gives it more of a burger taste which I prefer yummo

Yea the boxes won out as did the cleaning & wash that was piling up.
Kind of an emotional day…it really hit me that we moved.

Going to play it again Sports to get a few missing links. So Ill either hit legs tonight or early am. maybe pull a double tomorrow. I really need to get that fire burning.

love the saying: When you dont have anything left to burn, you need to set YOURSELF on FIRE

Lets see if i can remember this im too tired to go get my sheet.

front squat 45/5 65/5 78 4x5

deads 115/5 135/5 150 4x5

RDL 135/2x5 back was tired after this.

cleans practice, I need lots of it.just working on the first part up to shoulders. Maybe post my vid tomorrow.

threw in some pushups

Front squats felt good, deads too. (75% day) Felt in my zone tonight even though Im not used to training late.

Did a little “sight seeing” with the fam today… forced family bonding as my daughter calls it haha

My lab was determined to take a nap right there ! and my new bumpers

and Lilly

love labs. grew up with mostly labs, then pits, now I have my Butch, a 8 year old American Bull Dog, and Bea, a 10 year old St. Bernard.

I miss my doggie.

Nothing special, but i feel like Im comfortable now in my set up.

Need another mat and still have to get a bench.

I see lots of time practicing the Oly lifts, but it was a frustrating fun i can see becoming addicting!

Pete yea we have had 3.A black lab 2nd yellow boy and 3rd this female. I also lost my mind for long enough to have my daughter talk us into a long hair chihuahua. Its very much a love/hate relationship, but she is a cutie.

username thanks for stopping in. They do become part of the family thats for sure.

Congrats on the bumpers. I think you’ll do well at the Olympic lifts. You seem to have good flexibility and good co-ordination, half the battle in my opinion.

Nice front squats, jealous of that clean grip.

Your dog looks lovely. I miss my dog a lot (2 months today) sigh.

Farmer yea its really tuff.My first was a brutal loss. Our second was only 1. It gets better but they are never forgotten.

This was my first session at it, i know there are lots of things to improve getting it closer etc etc lol but im up for the challenge.

this is my start long way to go …

^^^ Well as I have proved countless times with my videos, I am no expert at this stuff, but that looked like a damn good first attempt to me.

I can see it is going to be a total brain tease. Yea I really dont care what i fuck up, its the whole process thats intriguing. Once i got past training in front of a gym full of people I was good to go. As far as vids go, its not like anyone has to watch them.

Yesterday was just a lazy day. Went out for a family golf game. It was just my speed a 9 hole par 3 course. I had a few good shots…despite myself. Im enjoying all the time with the kids before their “social life” kicks in again.

YAY! That’s awesome! Oly is so addicting! I think you’ll love it

Congrats on the move and the lifting - looks like everything is going swimmingly!

Keep killing, girl!

Great first attempt! It took me a long, long time to learn how to properly do an Oly clean. Think upright row/shrug combined. You have to have enough weight (or I did) to avoid simply reverse curling the bar.

I get verklempt watching the Oly lifts as I don’t believe I’ll ever be able to clean and press again.

Had to google verklempt although I was thinking along those lines.
It is very time consuming and probably more fail then success but a great wo for sure, not to mention looks uber cool!!

Going to pick up a bench tonight! Really need a weight tree too.

Lemon chicken and chicken parm yummo

80% week

squat 45/5 65/5 75/2 85/7x3 vid was 4th set? plan was 5 sets but i felt so good wanted more

squat set up 115 —> still feels so heavy

practice hang clean or clean lol neede to get that bar closer 5x5 @65

good mornings 75/5 105/5

was high bar squat to box but i skipped it

combo walking lunge 25s 3/8 each leg
band curls 3x10
hip thrusts 85 first set shoulders on floor, 2nd set sh up on new bench

ABS must get back to training them more, by more I mean MORE ~~~~ not sure Im listening to myself

vups with 10# 2 sets of 20
tried hanging with dumbell between feet but im used to the wider lip, these were a total fail, unless you call a few reps anything, I dont. Then I tried to get Mcguiverish but that was a fail too.Only other idea I had was loading my mini pac, but I havent unpacked it yet.So I did no weighted ones sets sets of 10.

then did 3 sets of 10rep roll-outs, played around with standing against back of rack, then tried 1 arm which is the progression form 2 but as youll see im nowhere close to getting it.
EDIT I also did some planks have i mentioned i hate planks? so I flipped over and held the v

apologies for a few crap songs, plug yer ears.Nothing earth shattering (as usual)

I’m loving your home gym set up. I was thinking last night about my commercial gym membership. I haven’t been there in 3 months and don’t miss it at all. Even the yoga pants are not enough to make me feel excited to train there

I’ve decided I am going to cancel my membership.

Training looks good. Results look even better.

Ahhh thats just cause you got the wife on board now…so cool by the way
I definitely need -er want a few things, i need to look into attachments. Some arent big on leg press but I LOVED that pause and press OUCH hurt so good! I have the dip bars now, so I need to get some of Kimbas she power Dip queening pressing going.

Loved the vids!

The one-arm rollouts look brutal. I should try the ab wheel. Makes me a wee bit nervous with my shoulder, though. I hear you on the abs and am thinking I just need a separate ab day like G1 did. I keep bailing on doing them at the end of my sessions.
