Lol, can’t let you get complaisant…
JK
I find it interesting that you GM as much as you squat. My GM is really low in relation to my squat. Ahh, well. I have several pairs of wrist wraps. Want me to send you a pair? I hardly ever wear them except for benching on the platform.

I think her Gm shows that she has strength and her squat shows that she is learning how to squat. When Up gets the skill/confidence down her squat will take off. It’s been kinda the same on Rdl and deads but now dead is starting to progress weekly as she get the groove/confidence dialed in.

Todays BENCH DAY
Why is it the days you feel so good and strong , it doesnt necesarily go that way? and days like today, that i felt spent I did pretty good?
warm up same ol, but Id love to know what others do for Bench warm up…
Bench 45/5 65/3 75/2 80/4 83.5/4 88.5/4 90/1 PR even if it hurts your eyes he didnt help.went up and failed. The first spotter was good, after telling me he only uses finger tips or hands to guide I told him " how about zero fingers", 2nd spotter was trying to direct me with breathing WTF and stood to one side for hand off so bar was lower on one side.I have got to learn to adjust to this.I am not blaming spotter for my fail just venting.
skipped iso hold bench for obvious reasons
DB shoulder press 20x5 25/2x5 strong!
T-bar row 45/5 55/2x5, 60 1x5 didnt have a nice pause at top, but surely would pass
combo
french press 20 1x8 25 3x8
DB curl 20 3x5, 1x4 each alternated arms, last set did more of a twist it up from hammer curl , but got 5 reps each arm
let me get the reps vid up and my ugly 90 ![]()
Upscale–nice timing , having got jackie benching free for the first time these will be relly nice videos for her to watch.

Hey Up, great job on a new PR! Way to stick with the rep and fight through it!

At the moment she is working hard to control the bar.
Nurse daree i say the bar is feeling light to me now.
Today short and sweet Training
Really wanted to get in todays training, wasnt sure Id really get to it while visiting family on way to new house. My back was already tired so I was pretty stubborn to go for it.
Front squat 45/5 65/5 75/3 85/3 90/3 PR!
dead lift conv. 95/5 135/3 165 3x3 PR for reps anyway.
attempted RDLs 135/1x5 my back had enough and I could not keep the arch to save my life.
Almost did a snap and left, but did…
leg press sq stance 145/3 170/3 180 2x3
leg curls 80 3x5
at this point I was fried, this move has taken its toll, and I knew I had quite a bit of cleaning left to do when i got home.(we have a buyer so Ill be happy once we close)
One of the trainers offered to do a one on one boxing cardio class, any other time Id jump on it, but had to pass.
anyway i did try to not set up so wide but with my longer legs (so they say) I had a really tough time dropping more down then digging back like I usually do, so I will go back to what works for me(also got much deeper before)
the 165 for 3 had a really hard time holding my back too, the front squats killed me and i started kinda sore from lifting boxes at home.
I will go back to some more volume. It really works for me.Even though it is really tough I feel like the higher reps helped with the higher weight low reps, but Ive gotten about as much as I can right now and need to put more reps back in. Time to go back to cussing out.
EDIT I know Snap how can I be at my back squat weight? Need to really get working on my back squat.
Dropping to see what you’re up to…killing it with PR’s I see.
Wishing you a stress-free move!
nice couple of Pr’s you got in this week.
And yes wraps will help on low bar squats when you have little wrists.
Lil p thanks! You are moving fast on your recovery
May it continue. It will be the only time my numbers even
Sniff yours haha
NLmain thanks I guess when numbers are low no where
To go but up !
Made it to new location. Moving truck comes Wednesday
Hubby’s teasing me I’ll be on him to
Set up cage before kitchen boxes are unloaded…
He is probably right!
Will get in training tonight and or tomorrow, not
Sure where.

That looked easy. The ugly was just because you got out of your groove, drifting forward a bit. The minute you got back in, it flew up.
O. Yea, I’m working on bar path.
A light flickered when G said slow down
The decent, that momentum makes the press
Up difficult.
Going to get the mats today, scored a sale
At a farming place.
Funny how whenever anyone hears I do
The deadlifting, I hear watch your back-
Oh your going to hurt your back! Let me say
My bending over unpacking boxes is killing me way
More than DL ing
Eating is getting better , although I love
how my abs look a bit softer.
Training today will consist of unpacking more
And hit some Oly stuff.have some 10s coming
Really stoked about that.
I’m really loving the Mid-West , maybe change
My mind this winter.
I love live music and beer, so good thing I’m ok
With the curvier look, ha!
nice PRs!
yes, wraps will probably help a lot. i wrap my wrists for my work sets on bench, squat, and snatch, and find the wrapping really helpful. seems to remind me to keep things tight and / or gives me confidence that things are tight.
moving is stressful. hope you get to have things unpacked and arranged to your satisfaction real soon.
