All Show and No Go

Just a quick hit workout from turbo fire, hit 15 is short but works me. I had plenty of zip from the handfuls of sweet and salty i ate.

Now Im waiting for the meatballs to cook so Im going to roll out lats and upper, they are definitely saying hello.

Conditioning!!! I am so jealous, i need some but trying to hold of. I miss my sled/prowler workouts. They’ll be back soon.

your doing AWESOME!!

MIM Im doing what I can thats for sure. I was wandering threw your log the other day, Ill bet you cant wait to get back to it and figure out what all your tiredness is about.Interesting on the lime disease.

       Today at the gym

warm up was a buncha pushups and half inchworms, just walking out and back.

Hang clean & press 45/5 55/5 60/5 65/2x3 yes!

narrow grip incline 45/5 55/3 65/3 75/2x3

narrow grip bench 56/3 75/3 80/1x3 81/2x3 ~~~> yup used my little baby plates no laughing a lb is a lb (actually thought i had the 1s on there)

DB bench 25/1x5 30/2x5 Im pretty sure i could do the 35s but not sure how i would get them flipped up, i use my legs and struggle a bit with the 30s ??

tbar row 45/3x8

combo
db curl 15s together 3x8 20s alt arms 1x8
lat raise 10s 3x10 > my lats were spent before starting
db french press 25 3x10

foam rolled, hurt esp on lats rolled everything that was sore.

Used a spotter for the last 3 sets of narrow grip 81
I really hate using spotters. No matter how much I express dont touch the bar unless im dying or dropping it they just cant do it.I really want to wrestle the weight up, let me do it! Then they say I didnt touch it I just fingertip guided it…Ill be a lady and not say what i feel like saying cause afterall they are helping me.

Anyway the lower reps leave me feeling like i have more in the tank, not sure i like walking out of gym , im usually crawling, which makes me ask if i worked hard enough.

well I know what the tiredness is from and I kinda knew all along. It was just a matter of sucking it up and making threats to the Drs to get me properly tested. (j/k…sort of)

I just keep on keeping on!

Hi. New here,. Just stopping in. Nice volume on that session.

Mim yea i know the thyroid, my mom battled that. No fun :frowning:

You are forever jumping obstacles and yet you still persevere, and I dont see you stopping anytime soon.

DJS ha me volume? I think you know a thing or two about that!

Moving truck comes in 2 days YIKES!!! The 1almost 17 yr old is coming around. We are going to let her stay for 6 days before flying out, kinda glad its not me putting her on that plane.

Ill be getting in my legs tomorrow and have to see how the rest of the week goes, my plan is get it in early (<---- did I just say that?) or late.

Im feeling yesterday already

moving is stressful-

that many showings is so foreign to me, NYC stuff sales are a mess you
are looking at an apartment - in an open house with like 100 other goons
and somone is yelling I will take it!

nice training this past few days you respond very well to it

I thought your ankles looked a tiny tiny bit tight
but your knees looked super solid- so its nothing bad

but my mechanics are different then yours- we might be the same height
but you legs are much longer.

Front Squats look great, Up. I really struggle with them. They feel just wrong to me.

rack purchase is major win!!

rack picture (with red nike top) is also major win. You need a proper photographer.

front squats look good and low, especially in the first vid.

OK bizzzeee day!!! getting stuff together for packers, and doing the stuff i dont want them doing blah blah blah.

I keep forgetting what the girls post for stats but heres a few to give a better idea.
120 give take that lb
calve 13
above knee 17
widest part of leg 21 3/4
bicep 10 1/2
waist 27 at narrowest 30 at belly button (yup gotta love the obliques)
bootie 37

training today

flat week - have no clue what it means haha

warm up I no longer have the tight hip flexors so thats good

squat 45/5 65/5 75/2 85/1 90 2x3 & 1x4 `````YES lower bar made it feel so much better and lighter

squat set up 115(just un rack, set up and re rack) THIS FELT HEAVY think i did 110 first or 105 i forgot lol

good mornings 75/5 95 1x5 back felt strong went up 100 2x6 dang these felt good

leg press sq stance 160/5 180/3 get tight like real squat flex core, 200/3 tight, 220/2 tight and so glad I went potty first (ladies with babies can appreciate that comment ;))

single leg bulg sq. 25/3 each 35/3x3 —> heavy to hold set down for 20 seconds or so between to regrip. really wanted to go back down to 30s but I told myself just get it done!

my oh my I was feeling it after that i had step ups but didnt feel confident on the squishy benches so i didnt do it ;(

leg curls 80 3x6
back ext 25 3x6

SO the adjustment to lower back squat went well.I still shot forward with the bar some reps and didnt hit depth which pissed me off so the last set i went for 4 just cause i was mad at myself.

We are going to stop in Ohio and visit family on our way and they have my gym there so glad ill hit one session on the road.(plan anyway)

2 busy hey :)thanks

kmc well actually Im 5" 4 1/2 …at least i used to be I could have started the shrinking process. Still dont get how you can see im tiny bit tight in ankles lol but I dont have the full eye for this stuff yet.

nlmain With your incredible talent and passion for your photography I can only imagine what incredible pics youd come up with, and you know id be wanting one in that red/white red heel number!

I don’t remember if you are using wrist wraps or not when you squat, but if the lower bar starts giving you wrist issues (which it might as you go heavier) just invest in a good pair. It’s helped me tons.

Great that you’re getting a home gym, money well spent.

You’re making great progress in here. Well done.

Hope the move goes smoothly.

Hey Up, nice job on the squats and the bar transition. Coming together nicely!

Nlmain I do hVe wrist straps and use occasionally Trying to get some grip strength so try not to use often, will keep them in mind.

FB. I’m sure you can relate to the move.
Truck won’t get to destination till wed.

I am thinking if I can keep kicking my ass
I will gain a little more
Muscle and keep getting stronger. I have a feeling
This home gym thing will be a constant wish list.
My friends enjoy jewelry for Xmas I’m thinking
Hmmm anything iron.

G- excited for your meet!

I think

I’ll stay with flat week for 2 then go peak. Or you know me
I’ll change my mind if I’m feeling strong haha

Yea, you might have to play it by ear for the next few weeks. Take both templates and may decide on the fly. It will be nice once you are settled with new gym and we can start progressing again, got some things i want to change up/add too but lets wait until your settled.

Upscale, she’s referring to wraps and not straps. Wraps help keep your wrists straight and give support. That’s actually a great idea as low bar is harder on the shoulder and wrists.

Great progress in here.

Any.Im not looking forward to wrist pain. I have tweaky little wrists as it is.

Like the new avi up. Nice upper back development and erectors are looking thick! No wonder bar sat so good for you and your Gm are starting to take off.
