Well well !.
For some time i have been trying to persuade my girlfriend to start basic weights but she has been of the cardio and running is all you need opinion—and when she gets an opinion then that’s it.

Then hey-ho her running magazine runs an article about the benefit of weight training for runners and suddenly she is keen but coming out with the ‘dont you get hoooge…’ question.

So i have now run a few of your videos for her (similar age) and she is well impressed–did a wow on the photo !!

So we may have another newbie weight trainer in the family and thanks for the superb example of a strong and fit looking lady.[/quote]

WOW what a nice compliment, and keep me posted on the “partner”.I mean whats this GF thing, i just got the partner thing straight!

MIM we have the chest supported one too but this was the one G wants me to use, really have to hold that back and core and you can hold real narrow.

Joe lol I dont know why i do that, makes me want to stetch my hamstrings , but honestly think its a little tic i have

Abs I go threw phases i train them hard once a week then fall off a bit…I find hitting them hard once a week or every 5th day is good.

i did weighted planks least fav
vups with 10#
held the v position and lowered till the shaking is so bad feels like im gonna convulse haha
ab wheel rollouts didnt count but kept the sets low like 5-8
hanging leg raise
toe touches on pull up bar
did these last so not ver controlled at all, i guess i better work on that…

ill try to get a couple short vids of rollouts(look like Germanomes but i use tha ab wheels, and toe touches) the planks are a boring watch, well it is a good bootie shot so not hugely boring haha

nice rowing!!

bootie… I mean ab/planks video plz!

Wow–i didn’t realise we could put requests in…

Alexus love anything to do with back!

Soldog haha i guess i deserved that.

Big N hope the wife is able to walk after her first day, ill have to visit your log and see if you posted about it.

Training these low reps are a cake walk That volume work makes this so different.

Squat 45/5 60/5 75/3 85/2 90 3x4 vid was last set

good mornings 65/8 90 3x5

leg press sq stance 160/5 180/5 210/5 180/10 —>210 was a bit of a grind but got it

single leg bulg back leg on bench 25/5 30/5 35/5 —> grip is getting stronger too 35 would have killed me a few weeks ago

combo lunge in place 30/2x5 35 1x5
leg curls 70 3x8 felt like i didnt have a good pause so threw in 2 more each set.

Had diff tennies on and they were good for squats(although still a bit wiggly) but everything else was a battle. They were loose and felt very unstable, yikes!
back ext 25 3x6 behind head

I really need back ground music to cover me up ha

EDIT wrong vid

Then i do a bunch of this kinda stuff alternating with a straight v-up and this version no touch.
some other bar work…blah blah

Hey Up, abz are looking strong, good work.
I got to take the arrow in the forehead on the shoes. The little heel helped you in the box squat technique work so i was thinking lets try it on squat day…defintely helped you sit back but the squishiness had to be tough to deal with. Shoes should be in this week though, fingers crossed.
After watching those squats, the shoes are going to help, no question…good work had a little strength to spare on the 90…awesome.

I see that you are getting new shoes? Cause I was going to suggest squatting just in your socks. The unstable nature of trainers drives me nuts when squatting. Now with my Vibram Five Fingers, I can wear “shoes” while squatting but not have that wiggly feeling.

Looking very hawt. Happy belated birthday!

Thanks, now we are both 46…

The chucks are a lot more stable, i just seem to go lower in the reds, but wont wear them again.Yes my new squatting shoes should come soon, Nike.

My glute tie in is feeling it today, love to get that spot sore! Im actually having a craving to do deads and or RDLs …

Yum.

no… Im the lucky one !

I think Snaps yum was my craving for deads and or RDLs…silly boys!

I will say that I am sure its all a matter of perspective as if I asked him he would say he is the lucky one.

Bench Press 45/5 55/5 65/3 75/3 85/4(vid)/3/3

DB sh press 20 1x6 25 2x6

T-bar row 50/6 60/4 70/2 (vid) 50/7

DB incline 25 5 30 2x5

tris first set of 15 got 5 not the best form 10s gone so didnt finish sets for combo
DB curl 15s together for 10, then alt arms with 20s for 10 each arm

DB row 35 1x8 40 2x8 surprisingly not much shoulder lift at all.
lat raise 10s

done

I can tell Im ready for a deload thankfully its coming! The bench felt good, spotter thought i gave up too soon felt i had a couple reps ,so im sure you all will too. I know I have to work on not losing focus when a spotter has their hands so close to bar if not lightly touching. Felt like my legs were under me better and G wants me up on shoulders more, think I was? wants me forward more towards hips. Felt like i nailed my own que of DRIVE feet at chest.

Felt a little bad ass with the 40 for DB row.Not sure its deserving lol but felt good that i did it.

Wasnt feeling as strong for the rows not hitting all my reps, and I have GOT to take my rest in between, Im a little impatient with that.

Pardon my horrible computer skills…
