All Show and No Go

here it is…

Fuck that V taper Up Scale.

you’re doin something right

Upper Started with rolling out back, lats etc getting an early start with this should be good. Also showed me a couple gadgets there to stretch on that i never see anyone on. I also count some of my wo taking off the 45s as we had to share a bar lol

Bench Press 45/10 55/8 65/6 75/80/75 x5 (3 min rest)

Incline 65 3x5 really had no clue where the bar was supposed to really go, doesnt just fall into place, had to think about it.

sh pr 25s 4x6 2 min rest

Tbar row 40 1x6 45 3x6 hmmm Germanome had me go way closer with my hands and angle up more than i was, felt way different, grow rhomboids haha

DB row 35 4x8

French press 25,20,15 3x6 ? or 8 forgot

DB bi curl 15s 4x8

back ext 20# behind head

something like that, got off script …

My daughter gave me a “gross” when I came in and flexed my back for her, so of coarse I made her take a pic.haha. Im sure the lighting is a little tricked out making it appear better but either way the pic is so sweet to me! [/quote]

It’s an awesome pic, Up. You are doing great!

Holy $*@!, do you ever take a bad picture? And no, it’s not the lighting.

Truely great V-taper and back definition Up!

you ARE doin’ it right

Your waist just looks tiny there. Such pretty proportions.

Lifting is making you look even more hourglass from the back. Lats and delts too. You’re doing great!

For a relative lifting newbie you have great awareness of what needs to get done.

I’m with Cav…the camera loves you.

What a beauteous backside! Shit!

Loved the training vid. I think you have a lot of potential with your DL. And I struggle with bar path on incline press too. Not sure your squat looks deep enough.

Keep up the great work!

Snap -OK so this is me all the compliments I focus on the one i worry about…squat depth!
LOL I keep asking German “are you sure Im deep enough?” hmmm. Ok Snap Ill try to dig down a little more and go lower.Im going to have to feel it so I can do it.Thanks Girl! Not that Im gonna ever compete but i do wanna be low enough. Thanks Im loving my back!

Soldog said Sol dog haha wink - thanks, even wrong its coming out right lol

2 busy on your best behavior I see, thanks

Cav well yes but its bad enough i post my red face grunt vids, so you wont see any bad pics haha

Git I lay awake thinking of what i need to work on, I know sad sad life haha. ahhh you uys are too sweet on the pics thing.

Puff I am loving how picking up and putting down something can change the way a body appears and feels. My waist is kinda small Its 25 1/2? smallest 27 belly button- I think I meant to do measurements (we forgot again!) wrist is so tiny 5 1/4. Did I just read surgery? hope you are feeling better, and will be back at it soon.

thanks for the back love!

Snap also yea on the DL comment, that pull makes me so high, will love to get better and stronger on it for sure, thank so much for the feedback !!Was neat to think not long ago i could barely get one sloppy 135 now im repping it for sets!

This was another great couple training days with Germanome, only wish i had more energy to keep going and soak up all he says. i love that he doesnt overwhelm me with the 10 things i need to work on and throws out just a couple at a time. i play the vids over in my mind and try to correct the arms being slack in set up for deads and my shoulders in squats he said a couple things that helped get the point across.

The bench vids went 75/80/75 the vid is the 80 first and then the last set of 75, amazing his ques really helped me(and yea maybe the -5 too haha) but its so humbling to train with him, not only is he so humble but his form is so smooth and effortless, as you all see. What you dont see is his stiffness haha so he is really pushing me to roll out my muscles etc so I dont get all stiff like him.

I can so relate to Alexus and I am very much like her in the sense that I dont usually do anything that i dont pick up super fast and or are really good at. This is something Im doing that i have improvements to make and Im not perfect but i dont care. it just makes me want to work harder to nail it.Im really happy with the improvements Ive made. My muscles are responding and its super exciting.

DAMN!!! Seriously, your back looks great. By chance have you ever consider doing a figure competition or BB ?

we are all our own worst critic

You do have an extremely nice figure. Very curvy in all the right places. I can make my waist 25.5 when I pull the tape measure really tight. Our wrists are about the same size. Very small.

Regarding the squats . . . I’m a squat snob. And the fed I compete in requires that the hip crease dip below the top of the knee to be legal. The best PLers know exactly where that sweet spot is and don’t shortcut nor go too deep. The best camera angle to shoot from is the side about waist high.

Well hopefully the waist stays close to where its at, my obliques love to grow, if i can put that same stimulation in my legs all will be good lol

I am enjoying not just the curves but the way my body feels more controlled, if that makes sense. Maybe its a stregth feeling, im really not sure, its just different.

I have only one place to even tape from and it is a lot higher. G was trying to stay outa way of benchers and wandering, clueless people. Ill see if i can get someone to tape and hold it there one of these days. Again no plans of competing but still would like to be in the crease zone.

SOLDOG not so much Im critical, just maybe my brain hasnt caught up to my eyes. I have beat myself up for years, so ive been trying to look at myself with someone elses eyes/view and find some positive.Hope that made sense.

i get what you are saying about feeling more controlled. that was something that i started to miss when i backed off a lot of the exercises i was doing in order to focus on snatches. trying to incorporate them again so i get that feeling again. like being able to recruit things at will. feels strong and safe. i think that is what it is about (for me anyway) good recruitment / activation patterns.

i so miss deadlifts. once i’m done with the RSR i’ll give myself a few days… then i’m gonna see if my max has gone up!! miss them a lot.

you do look fabulous. your waist looks really tiny. i’m not sure i know how to flex my lats… not sure that i have any lats to flex lolz.

lol on lats, when i was trying to see if I had them, i remember someone here somewhere saying they roll them before they work them, really helped me feel where they should be, and help with the mind/muscle connection thing .Try it!
