Aliens; Real or Not?
Edgar Mitchell was the Lunar Module Pilot for Apollo 14

Aliens have contacted humans several times but governments have hidden the truth for 60 years, the sixth man to walk on the moon has claimed.

Apollo 14 astronaut Dr Edgar Mitchell, said he was aware of many UFO visits to Earth during his career with NASA but each one was covered up.

Dr Mitchell, 77, said during a radio interview that sources at the space agency who had had contact with aliens described the beings as ‘little people who look strange to us.’

He said supposedly real-life ET’s were similar to the traditional image of a small frame, large eyes and head.

Chillingly, he claimed our technology is ‘not nearly as sophisticated’ as theirs and “had they been hostile”, he warned ‘we would be been gone by now’.

Dr Mitchell, along with with Apollo 14 commander Alan Shepard, holds the record for the longest ever moon walk, at nine hours and 17 minutes following their 1971 mission.

‘I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we’ve been visited on this planet and the UFO phenomena is real,’ Dr Mitchell said.

'It’s been well covered up by all our governments for the last 60 years or so, but slowly it’s leaked out and some of us have been privileged to have been briefed on some of it.

UFO theorists believe Roswell in New Mexico was the site of an alien crash in 1947

‘I’ve been in military and intelligence circles, who know that beneath the surface of what has been public knowledge, yes - we have been visited. Reading the papers recently, it’s been happening quite a bit.’

Dr Mitchell, who has a Bachelor of Science degree in aeronautical engineering and a Doctor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics claimed Roswell was real and similar alien visits continue to be investigated.

He told the astonished Kerrang! radio host Nick Margerrison: "This is really starting to open up. I think we’re headed for real disclosure and some serious organisations are moving in that direction.’

Mr Margerrison said: ‘I thought I’d stumbled on some sort of astronaut humour but he was absolutely serious that aliens are definitely out there and there’s no debating it.’

Officials from NASA, however, were quick to play the comments down.

In a statement, a spokesman said: "NASA does not track UFOs. NASA is not involved in any sort of cover up about alien life on this planet or anywhere in the universe.

‘Dr Mitchell is a great American, but we do not share his opinions on this issue.’
Is it becoming more prevalent in our society? With the aid of sciences such as physics and new explorations into not only different galaxies and solar systems but different dimensions. Is the probability now awaiting us?

This seems to be a pretty credible source and I don’t see why the guy needs to pull a publicity stunt.

The NASA spokesperson didn’t directly deny that contact has been made. They just stated that they didn’t share the same opinion.

I think it it would be unrealistic to believe that NO other life exists other than what’s found on our planet.

But I’ll believe in little green men when I see them.

He’s kind of a nut.

He has been involved in all sorts of psychic nonsense and weird theories for years.

I too doubt any alien life has made it this far, and even if they did they would likely look at us like a bunch of retarded teenagers and go back home or nuke us.

That was my point. That may be where their opinions differ though. In what exactly they believe.

Is what you know of him completely discrediting?

Yup, or we’ll make great pets.

What says that they exploit us though? Maybe they’re smarter than that. I mean ultimately we have seen our exploitation of every other race as inhumane. Took a while and a little bit of social consciousness but it is wrong… Right? … Guys?

Even to the extent that Capitalism and consumer based economies have been seen as “flourishing” and profitable; Consumerism leads to an abuse of resources.

We can see that, if they’re smarter why can’t they?

Make note that the alien pictured doesn’t have a penis.

Didn’t mean to drag this of into the subject of ethics.

Just wait until you’ve been out drinking with me mate. You’ll be seeing the little bastards everywhere.

(Wo-ho)
I’m an alien,
I’m an (il)legal alien
I’m a South African…in London

Wait a minute, that’s not right.

We are not alone in the universe. But no Aliens have visited us, at least not lately. I think that in the millions of years our planet has been around, it stands to reason at least a probe might have made it out here before.

Another victim of the alien anal probe.
No one is ever the same after that.

Wait a minute - Aliens, little green men, Print, Wol, Makavali…

Do I see a connection here?

I see the situation as discouraging.

Assuming thousands if not millions of other societies are spread around the universe none of them have contacted us yet in a way we can verify 100%.

Does this mean it’s indeed impossible to cross the vastness of space or are they skilled at remaining undetected?

Most of the evidence we have is hearsay.

We have only been developing technology for 10,000 years or so, imagine what a society that has had billions of years of technological evolution would be capable of?

Monsters from the Id.

“If it’s true that our species is alone in the universe, then I’d have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little.”–George Carlin

I believe in aliens visiting us, but only because there’s undeniable evidence of seemingly intelligent UFOs.
You guys will probably think I’m a crack head or something for telling this to you guys. But I’ll die a martyr. =P

UFOs have been reported by thousands of airline pilots in the states alone. In the 50’s Project Blue Book was founded to give pilots an outlet to report their UFO sightings. It ended in the 70’s. About 7% of the cases were unexplained. Which was about 700 more or less.

Not to mention the Tether Incident at NASA and some of the astronauts claiming to have seen UFOs. I mean these are credible people.
Buzz Aldrin was one of those people and so was Gordon Cooper.

Of course… I’ll just let you decide for yourself if you wanna look that info up or not.

As LiftSmart said… a society could be billions of years into the future with their technology. I just think it’s human to deny the possibility that we may not be the most dominant beings out there. lol

Check out " The Quantum Hologram and ESP" DVD on amazon, and http://www.noetic.org, and decide for yourself, I suppose.

He may be legitimately interested in these topics and doing real research - but he is far from a skeptical man of science who is speaking out.
