A clown in the clouds?

There must be more galaxies in that picture than there are visible stars from Earth.
Each one of which contains hundreds of billions of stars, each one of which potentially has any number of planets orbiting it.
The universe is fucking retarded if aliens don’t exist.
The sad thing is that they are so far away that no degree of technological development will ever allow them to communicate.

the problem with that logic is that sometimes people ‘hear’ the great bozo talk back. Thats supposed to make it more real i guess, but beyond belief people are going to hear what they want to. Anyone know of any alien abduction stories where the grays speak?

Who had page 4 in the pool?
Anyhow, since it finally got brought up, if you go by theoretical physics the omnipotent being in the clouds could just be an “alien” from an alternate universe with the ability to interact with ours. The problem that religion brings upon that line of thought is when blind faith is given to said beings existence as true without our ability to define it as such. There is a huge difference between the scientific “it could be true” and the religious “it is because we have faith that it is.”
I tried my best to not take a side in this post, not sure how I did.
Another good thread gone downhill because a few people chose to change the subject.
Anyways, what about those galaxies, blazars, that shoot out energy at 99.99% of the speed of light? It’s a long shot that we’d be able to accelerate real matter to that speed, but who knows what we’ll be able to accomplish in the future.
Ren the movie , Communion.

What’s the mass of a proton? Now compare that to a spaceship.

Yeah, it would take an inconceivable amount of energy, but I don’t see any reason why mankind won’t eventually have the ability to generate that. The problem would be keeping the object intact while it was accelerated.
Gravity drives may be science fiction at this point, but a lot of science fiction has already come true, so i’m not ruling out gravity drives for WAY faster than light travel. The basic concept is you have several strong gravity generators on your ship and you use one to create a gravitational field around the ship similar to earth gravity.
You will feel like you are standing on the surface of the earth and even if the ship moves or changes direction, your whole field is moving so you still only feel the gravity field of the ship, and thus don’t fall over or get splattered to the back of the ship during accelleration. Then with your other gravity generators, you point them in the direction you want to go and because the theory is that gravity propogates at several billion times the speed of light or some other such figure it’s basically instant transport along great distances.
When you read the above you might wonder what exactly it means. Basically you create a black tunnel, or a wormhole like structure, as you move towards the gravity out in front of you you are accellerating towards it at a rate, the gravity generators are moving towards it also so the point of reference stays out in front of the ship, thus you just continually accelerate towards the point and the point keeps moving.
Very shortly the gravity stacks up and becomes so great that light cannot escape or something like that and you make a tunnel through to your path, it’s basically like falling into your own black hole but you own gravity shield protects you from the effects of the outsde forces. Once you turn off the gravity generators your ship just stops. Or perhaps there is a reverse function that slows you down I’m not sure how that would work.
Apparently these gravity drives theories can explain the rediculous acceleration and change of direction capabilities of UFO’s people see. There are even some websites who claim to know exactly how the technology works, and given enough of a specific element, 115 I believe, claim to be able to make such a drive. I think there is also a GE patent on the technology, so it seems like it is a little more concrete than just science fiction.
Also DMT interests me a lot. It is a very interesting chemical and I would not mind experiencing it’s effects.

Actually, it has been found that gravity moves at the speed of light.(approximately)

No, No it doesn’t, thats what textbooks and teachers pass off as fact when in reality, common sense and a little math prove that it is “instant”. Here, this says it better than I can.

Those concepts are a little over my head. BUT from what I can tell, they said. The newtonian model is that gravity is “instant” but besed on the relative math, since electromagnetic forces behave a certain way, they can just compare that to gravity and say thats also how gravity behaves? Then they state that no direct testing can be achieved at this point. So thiers is still just a theory, just as my origional link is. It looks as if the theories the relative model uses is elegant, complex and has some holes, whereas the newtonian model is simple and understandable with little or no holes. Either way, I’m not sold that gravity does not propogate nearly “instantly” or at least orders of magnitude faster than light speed. I’m also not sure I am willing to do years worth of learning advanced math and physics to understand thier point. It should be able to be explained more simply.

I, I don’t have a whole lot of time. Um, OK, I’m a former employee of Area 51. I, I was let go on a medical discharge about a week ago and, and… I’ve kind of been running across the country. Damn, I don’t know where to start, they’re, they’re gonna, um, they’ll triangulate on this position really soon.
OK, um, um, OK, what we’re thinking of as, as aliens, they’re extradimensional beings, that, an earlier precursor of the, um, space program they made contact with. They are not what they claim to be. Uh, they’ve infiltrated a, a lot of aspects of, of, of the military establishment, particularly the Area 51.
The disasters that are coming, they, the military, I’m sorry, the government knows about them. And there’s a lot of safe areas in this world that they could begin moving the population to now. They are not! They want those major population centers wiped out so that the few that are left will be more easily controllable."

Seeing as I myself can’t claim the title of a physicist yet, I won’t even try to argue this further anyways. Besides, what you believe, makes it all a whole lot more fun^^
I see Aliens all the time. Illegal Aliens all the time. They come from Juarez, Mexico into our backyards in El Paso.
