So, let’s review…in the past day, we have learned that some of you can’t tell the arm of a bodybuilder based on his veinous structure if he even turns his arm in one direction because some of you don’t get that body parts look different in different angles.
We have learned that some of you judge neck size by RELAXED POSES even when there are THOUSANDS of other pics showing the difference in angle.

That is the extreme obvious, I was referring to ACTUAL bodybuilders. When someone has a long neck, it’s very easy for it to look skinny. For example, one might say that kevin levrone’s neck is extremely out of proportion to his huge delts and traps.
Why do you type so much? I have NEVER seen some HUGE bodybuilder with a tiny neck. Why would a bodybuilder avoid developing their traps…and who gets that big but gains no muscles in their neck and even face/jawline?
Why even bring up some extreme rarity that may or may not even exist?
Who else but you thinks Levrone has a tiny neck?
Are you mad about it? I post just because I want. If I break any rule just tell me.
That dillet pic is PERFECT example, and by the way, the neck is NOT the traps.

Perfect example of what? That you also have a hard time understanding that body parts look different at different angles?
Well of course we all know that bodyparts look different from different angles, but… If a bodypart looks particulary weak like Dillet’s in one pose, that is an indication of weakness. In particular, the most muscular shot you posted hides the neck, because the traps are raised and the head is brought in front.

Read above. You are beginning to really make yourself look worse. Apparently, you thought there was no back side of your neck. What muscle do you think is helping hold up that head of yours?
Dillet has a LONG neck. That doesn’t make it tiny or disproportionate. He can’t shorten his damn neck and I assume you think he needed a 24" neck just for a relaxed pose when ANYONE’S neck will look longer and less imposing if they stand up straight in a relaxed pose with their head in the air.
We are saying the same thing, I was referring to LONG necked bodybuilders. They are the ones that whatever they do their neck might look weak. It is common sense that if you have small-medium neck length, at bodybuilder bodyfat and weight the neck is not going to look small. It is just purely genetic.

No, YOU are saying that the traps don’t make up the neck muscles while using relaxed poses with heads in the air to describe DISPROPORTIONATE necks until you get called on it.

You just added this?
if so, then again I ask why someone so limited in what they know types so damn much.
Your neck, AGAIN , is your traps and sternocleidomastoids. What the hell did you think made up your neck muscles?
Limited in what I know because I say that the neck is NOT the traps? Are you serious man, arguing about semantics? The actual human neck is the sternocleidomastoids, the traps just attach to it and support. I’ m not going to continue debate into this, since we went already waaay offtopic with that whole Greek Ideal.

Agreed he does have something similar to Arnold, however he is 8 inches shorter than Arnold.
This must be noted. I’ve been impressed with this kid for years, but I think he’s like 5’2 or 5’3 or something. Much too short to ever do serious damage at the Olympia, although he may be able to dominate the 202 class eventually.
calves are about the only weakness he seems to have
His calves are nearly 3 inches smaller than his upper arms. Generally shouldn’t they be the same for symmetry?
No one cares about calves that much. Everyone knows calf development is limited by genetics and not one show that I can think of have has ever been won based on calf size as the determining factor. Hell, I think guys like Johnnie Jackson have calves smaller than mine…and he trains them just as hard as he does everything else.
Perhaps, but I feel cool knowing I also have 17" calves. Haha the only part of mine that matches his.

Strong derailment of thread. Aleksej will be competing at the Arnold Amateur next year, we’ll see how he does.
Bout damn time he competed in the states.
Yeah I think with the recent success of Evgeny Michin, Roelly, a lot of the foreign guys are starting to realize they can do pretty well in the States. I know Dobri Delev will also be at the show, he’s got a really aesthetic physique and also from number 1 country in the world Bulgaria!!

Youre completely professional at tripping over your own words and then backpedaling miserably.

Your posts are dumb as hell. Always
You know man, honestly, I don’t give a damn about your opinion. This is a conversation about a totally USELESS topic (neck size), you all don’t agree with my opinion fine, but SORRY, your disapproval is not going to make me sit in my corner and cry.
Some of you have to really understand that here is just the internet. Whatever you post or brag about, will make no difference in your real life. Only what you do in real life matters. Taking all that into consideration, you will have to say something other than “Your posts are dumb as hell” to impact me. With guys like you posting here, it’s no wonder the BB’ing forum is having significantly lower traffic nowadays.
