I find it interesting that in that pic his left pec is bigger compared to the right one. I have the exact same problem, shame mine pecs don’t even look near as big as his.
I am realizing that some of you have severe problems identifying differences you see in the bodies of other people. His left pec is NOT somehow more developed than his right. His chest is genetically shaped differently on one side than the other. He can’t do anything about that.

It isn’t gyno.

It isn’t that he is somehow developing one side bigger than the other.

Everyone is not made the same and very few people on the planet are absolutely identical between right and left halves.

This must be noted. I’ve been impressed with this kid for years, but I think he’s like 5’2 or 5’3 or something. Much too short to ever do serious damage at the Olympia, although he may be able to dominate the 202 class eventually.
calves are about the only weakness he seems to have
Yea according to the profile :http://www.mxmen.com/free/bio.php?id=16317

His calves are nearly 3 inches smaller than his upper arms. Generally shouldn’t they be the same for symmetry?

No one cares about calves that much. Everyone knows calf development is limited by genetics and not one show that I can think of have has ever been won based on calf size as the determining factor. Hell, I think guys like Johnnie Jackson have calves smaller than mine…and he trains them just as hard as he does everything else.

Greek ideal =/= Bodybuilding ideal. Calves have never been and never will be a make or break bodypart. If anything calves too big are a hindrance because they make the upper legs look smaller.

I didn’t say it was gyno man, I had gyno in one pec and it he doesn’t have the look of it. It was not of my understanding that genetics could play the role of shapping one pec bigger than the other, sorry if I made any confusion and thank you for explaning.

When you get arms that large* only a few extremely gifted people are going to have calves that match their upper arms.

To be fair many guys are utilizing site injects for the arms which further pushes the ratio towards the upper arms.

*I’m talking 21+ inches lean

Looking at those photos, I’m wondering how close he is to having arms bigger than his head a la Sergio Oliva.
For his height Id think about 22 inch arms to be bigger than his head.

What about neck circumference? Do you find aesthitically pleasant when a bodybuilder has a pencil neck (relative to the rest of his body).

Who are the well developed guys(light heavy and up for sake of clarification) that have pencil necks?

Don’t know specific examples man, the greek ideal says that neck, upper arm and calves should have the same circumference, so that’s why I brought this up. I am sure that somewhere must exist some bodybuilder with undersized neck.

Someone must BUT who cares? If someone is lifting to become a competitive bodybuilder(by this I don’t mean the idiots who weight 140lbs at 6’ and think they can enter a show just because they have ripped abzzz) then I highly doubt they will have a “pencil kneck”.

That is the extreme obvious, I was referring to ACTUAL bodybuilders. When someone has a long neck, it’s very easy for it to look skinny. For example, one might say that kevin levrone’s neck is extremely out of proportion to his huge delts and traps.

My upper arm, neck, and calves are the same circumference however I didn’t try to make it this way. This had to do with my genetics. There are genetic freaks out there so Id say there is someone out there who is a bodybuilder with a small neck. But only relatively small compared to the rest of their body but not a pencil neck by any means.

Why do you type so much? I have NEVER seen some HUGE bodybuilder with a tiny neck. Why would a bodybuilder avoid developing their traps…and who gets that big but gains no muscles in their neck and even face/jawline?

Why even bring up some extreme rarity that may or may not even exist?

Who else but you thinks Levrone has a tiny neck?

Levrone’s disproportionately small neck

^Haha I can’t even see his neck lol

I always thought that Paul Dillet had a small neck for his body. It might be his traps, length of neck or that he is just so damn wide but, he has always looked weird to me.

??

I seriously doubt Dillet’s neck could even fit in regular clothes.

Are those of you saying this aware of what muscles make up the neck? What then are you guys looking at besides the traps and sternocleidomastoids?

Dillet is very tall. He was a freak from top to bottom. Some people have shirt necks and some have longer necks but no where on that guy is a “small neck”.

Also, DIFFERENT POSES show different body parts better so why get a shot of him relaxed to show full development of his traps?
