ALABAMA

Thought I’d see just how many people from bama are on T-Nation… Sound off if you are!

I’ve seen a couple other people here from Bama, but most notably is veteran bodybuilder Old Navy, who has a couple of awesome threads around here.

Not just Alabama…But the promise land… “Auburn”

Oh, I’m very sorry…I take it you enjoy cow pastures? lol I go to Alabama so I gotta mess with you a little.

BTW, what are your thoughts about your team running a west coast-type system this year?

It worked well at the bowl game and they only had 3 weeks to practice it. Seemed very ballsy to install a new offence 3 weeks before you play the #9 team in the nation.

I think Kodi Burns is gonna be the new comming of Micheal Vick with out the thuggedness. He is a good kid 3.5 kind of gpa out of high school i think. He is almost as good at running the ball as our tail backs.

Yeah. I wont try to pretend to know much about auburn’s players, but it doesnt seem that that system would work too well in the SEC considering the average speed in the secondaries…but who knows. I just hope Saban can save us.

Sorry, I’m not from Alabama, but I gotta tell you, Saban can’t save Alabama. Especially not as long as Tim Tebow’s still around.

You got a point… We’re just hoping we can get a Tebow-type player out of our last recruiting class (first in the nation). Either that or just pray that he leaves soon lol

I have to admit i was a sceptic about the spread myself. Then the Gators won the BCS using it. I think you have to have an OC that can really call a game well. I really like Tony Franklin’s offence in the bowl game. I will be disappointed if we don’t go to the SECCG this year.

hey, you guys in tuscaloosa for the summer?

Unfortunately, this summer I had to come back to Huntsville. But starting August, I’ll be living down there for good.

Well, the spread is great right now, but at some point here defenses will start catering to its style of play. It’s just kind of what’s “hot” right now. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, it’s helped my team out a lot, but it’ll probably be done within 10 years or so.

Just checking in…

oh, and, jakshafter, I’m sorry you have to live in Auburn…j/k

Eh, it really depends. I usually go at either 1:30 or 5, just depends on the day. Man, I HATE going in the mornings. Whenever I go, the trainers have women doing this weird circuit shit all over the place…
