June 12 Deadlifting
Everything was going great until 245, then J bugged me and I missed (hat never happens on 245) and things went downhill from there. Still a good session, i wanted to do some light squats but my legs and butt were too tired and missing 2 pulls at 245 took some energy out of me.
bridges, some stretching
DL
5x135x2 sets
5x155x1
2x185x2
2x205x2
2x225x1
245 miss twice, J was hell bent on telling me about his weekend plans and joking around and distracting me, late Friday night we all get a little stir crazy, I was going to punch him but it wouldn’t have made a difference and he’d just laugh at me anyways.
185, J is explaining to a guy that no, it’s not too heavy for me and it’s fine for the back.
205, Jonathan cut filming too fast
205 trying to re set and get my ass down for each rep
225
So since I was feeling a bit wiped, I forgot about any other big lifts and did:
Lunges, 8x5 with 15lbs DBs
Chest Supported Row/Flat Bench for speed
5x80lbsx5 for the row-because I want a HYUUUGGGEEE upper back LOL
5x65x10 for the bench
Dragonflags 10x5
You can see a big fat dude in a red shirt there in the background, he was telling me how he can DL 700lbs and was a power lifter LOL, I asked which fed and he told me the YMCA.
Even though I was not feeling up to par, it was still a good night, my legs are a bit tight today and I’ll head out for some active recovery on my bike and get some sun at the same time. We have photographers coming this morning to take the pro shots for our realtor’s web site, and we have had some traffic coming through the house in the past few days. I’ll do some apartment hunting on my bike ride, I have a good feeling this place will sell fast.
Oh yeah, and since my camera finally works, I uploaded all my vids from the Nationals too. Check out Julie’s mad video skillz on my last DL attempt LOL
