What issues are you having with your knees? So far squats and deads aren’t hurting mine, but it’s the single leg stuff that KILLS…it sucks!

I know what you mean about depth on the wider stance to some degree. I find it easier to hit depth because it’s more of a straight up and down motion but I have to do more warming up and mobility because the stance change uses more glute and hip and this morning my ass is screaming. It takes a while to warm up my butt and hips so that it isn’t hurting when I get to depth.

Yes, it is straight up and down but I tend to lose my tightness right below parallel and stall a bit getting out of the hole. I don’t want more mobility/flexibity, I have a lot already and it just make it harder to stay tight. The weight will push me to the good depth, I just have to keep practicing.
I want some sleeves bad, think I may treat myself. Toasty knees sounds good, but I’ll wrap over 185, they are too weak otherwise and have always been that way.

o_s mentioned the rehband knee sleeves. I’m going to go ahead and whore for Inzer-- I love my knee sleeves. You can wear them loose, or really crank them down with the velcro to get some rebound. Very good support.

can’t speak for the other 30 odd million in the country, but the gym is hot, they are comfortable, I’m too broke to buy any more gym clothes and most importantly, I could care less who sees my ass squatting. In fact, if it helps to show what that rack is really used for, all the better LOL.

I take offense to this! In my latest vids I’m in a squat suit, but in my earlier videos are my shorts not short enough to be booty shorts? I get hassled by my club for wearing short, tight shorts… I thought they would pass your standards…

Just a random thought, I officially love sleeping alone. After 9 years of sleeping with a person who snores, suddenly I can sleep well again. I don’t feel like sleeping in the afternoon at around 2 pm anymore. Plus I get all the pillows.

June 12 Deadlifting

Everything was going great until 245, then J bugged me and I missed (hat never happens on 245) and things went downhill from there. Still a good session, i wanted to do some light squats but my legs and butt were too tired and missing 2 pulls at 245 took some energy out of me.

You can see a big fat dude in a red shirt there in the background, he was telling me how he can DL 700lbs and was a power lifter LOL, I asked which fed and he told me the YMCA.
Even though I was not feeling up to par, it was still a good night, my legs are a bit tight today and I’ll head out for some active recovery on my bike and get some sun at the same time. We have photographers coming this morning to take the pro shots for our realtor’s web site, and we have had some traffic coming through the house in the past few days. I’ll do some apartment hunting on my bike ride, I have a good feeling this place will sell fast.
