If Warner Bro’s is going to keep shoehorning characters in, at least throw in Idris Elba as John Stewart and retcon the mess that was the last GL movie.

I’d like that.
How perfect is Dwayne Johnson for Black Adam. Or Stephen Lang for Deathstroke.

Stephen Lang as Deathstroke?
Holy $h1t, Batman, that would be awesome.

The Aquaman rumor seems to have been recently confirmed, with Jason Momoa officially playing the part. Now I’m even more confused how/if they’re going to handle any shared screentime with Affleck and one of the most muscular actors in Hollywood today. Of course, that’s presuming he gets any significant screentime beyond just a quick intro or something.
In the comics, Aquaman has come into conflict with the Merrevale oil company (owners of the burning rig in MoS) for posing a threat to Atlantis. Tnere’s been further fan speculation that the carnage caused by the Tranformers rejects - I mean World Engines - will draw him to the surface…
Given that Momoa already turned down the offer to play Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy (didn’t want to play another taciturn character - understandable), and he’s been previously rumored to be up for several DC characters, including Martian Manhunter and Lobo, if he is playing Aquaman, then he’s most likely only playing a minor role in SvB (very late casting announcement after Momoa denied all previous negotiations with WB ) and is on a play-or-pay deal for an Aquaman solo movie.
Am I the only one sick and tired of seeing these badass superheros being neutered by Hollywood? For some reason Hollywood thinks we want to see our heroes old, tired, and weary…i.e. Christian Bale in TDKR constantly looking for his out to retire and taking a break from being Batman for EIGHT FUCKING YEARS, i.e. RDJ in Iron Man 3 succumbing to PANIC ATTACKS. This is supposed to be the dawn of the JLA. Batman needs to be at his god damned peak!! What is it really saying when the most badass Batman Hollywood has yielded comes from Michael Keaton. Honestly.
The Dark Knight Returns is one of my favorite Batman story arcs of all time; however, it would make zero sense with Cavill’s superman. Afterall, on multiple occasions he told the U.S. government/military he’d be working on his own terms and even destroyed their satellite at the end. Superman of TDKR is merely a lackey for the Reagan-esque president. He also already knows Batman. I just see no room for there to be any inspiration drawn from that other than the forced chance to see Batman fight Superman. But perhaps in the brain of Snyder that’s all TDKR is, because all he really comprehends is the fight scenes and doesn’t know what a story is.
Ben Affleck was a political decision by WB. Given his recent dependency on them for reviving his career in “The Town” and “Argo” he will very unlikely leave the way that Nolan and Bale did. Sadly, that’s all there is to it.

Never seen Momoa in anything, but physically he’d be the perfect choice for Lobo. He looks exactly like him.
Dc retconned lobo he looks like this now if they do Lobo he’ll look like this, just like Marvel is changing their 616 to more look like their cinematic world
