I swear to god every time I read one of these posts it knocks off at least a 5% chunk of me getting married. Why can’t I just lift and have nice Harley’s and cars and date 20 year olds my whole life?

I hope she never comes back and ends up fucking her boss. She probably has already.
Why would you hope that?

Because even if you’ve got game to date 20 year olds your entire life, even if you’ve got tons of close friends, even if you’ve got cool hobbies you passionately immerse yourself in, at the end of the day its nice to have someone there who is both your lover and best friend. I think this is true for the majority of people. Just a few percent of outliers who are happier on their own.
Don’t put too much into these threads either. They represent the exception not the norm. I think the stats that get thrown around about cheating wives are completely fictitious, especially if you throw out data from the lower socio-economic groups. The majority of women don’t cheat on their husbands. If you’re a man of character and you stay playful, loving, supportive and sexual with your wife the odds of her cheating probably go WAAAAYYY down.
The only good thing about cheaters is it comes back around to them.
The guys most women cheat with are out for themselves not providing for home, insurance and all the dozens of little things that will eat up her paycheck.
You did right.
On a side note… when I was a kid I remember one day I was at Grandpa’s farm and I asked him about sex. He sort of smiled and said, “Maybe instead of telling you what sex is, why don’t we go out to the horse pasture and I’ll show you.”
So we did, and there on the ground were my parents having sex. I ran away.

Feminists support cheating so long as it’s the woman doing it?
Actually, that wouldn’t surprise me.

I lol’d
This reminds me of a guy I worked with last year. He was texting back and forth to his wife while we were on lunch and she was in a text conversation with some other guy. Well, she ended up sending him the wrong text which was something like “ramada @ 2, can’t wait ;)”. He texts her back LOLWUT!!! and she responded that their son grabbed her phone and started hitting buttons.
I remarked that it was a funny sequence of buttons to hit, especially for a kid. He fumbled around through how that could happen and finally figured out how to accept her response, but we all know she was going to meet someone at a hotel not too far from their house at 2:00.

Wow.
I’ve got a hunch she changed those plans. Did the thought even occur to him to swing by the Rammada?

I found out my wife has been texting and talking with her boss after hours. It’s been going on for about six weeks and she was hiding it from me. She says nothing hinky went on, that they were just friends and everything was above board. He has an EMT background and she is a nurse, so they had the medical field and those experiences in common.
She doesn’t have a lot of unaccounted for time, but they work twelve hour shifts together behind a security gate and she has a trailer, so who the hell knows. I love her, and i think she loves me, but when this broke i got drunk and told her to leave and we have been separated for a week. I want her, back but I don’t feel like I can trust her.
I don’t think she did. He may have wanted to, but we were in the middle of a work day 50 miles away.
The way it has developed is that she had started working out and losing weight. Then back to school to finish her education and he ended up spending about a month out of the house “to work on some stuff”. Once she finishes school and gets the celebratory tummy tuck+boob job he’s a goner.

I have no idea. I sure as hell wasn’t going to be the guy to force him to realize it. He was already working way too hard to misunderstand it, so sometimes you just have to let that stuff register on its own.

But yes, nurses are notoriously horny. That can be a good thing.
No nurses yet.
Noted about horny nurses.
Maybe I need to go back to the hospital…

Feminism - Women arguing that they should be treated differently whilst not being treated differently.
