Advice for Upping Calories

im currently increasing my activity level and i am interested in taking advance of what Berardi calls g-flux ,so im deciding to up my cals…ive read that 250 cals at a time is best in order to minimize fat gain. however which kind of cals do i increase?( protein, fat or carbs?) also which meal would be best to add these calories? is it better to spread it out, add it to peri workout shakes or add it to post workout meal?

any advice would be great. THANKS!

250 cals? Peanut butter and jelly.

A scoop and a half of whey
A tablespoon of Olive oil
Serving and a half of nuts
serving of oatmeal
Sweet potatoes

Easy quick fix solutions for needed calories. To tell you where adding these calories would be most effective, we’d have to see your diet and check where its currently lacking. Generically, id say with breakfast or your post workout meal though.

olive oil
flax seed
protein bars
edamame
nuts.

Really to get an extra 250 i think i would just add a little bit more of whatever i was cooking to my serving size. ie. Turkey Sandwich, use 8 slices of turkey instead of 5. Select bigger steaks/chicken at the store.

thanks for the info guys… i eat very clean so have no problems which regards what foods will make up the cal increase. just wanted to know the best meal to place this extra calories and what kind of food to increase (pro fat or carb). ill probly follow what akuma sed about adding the cals in either my breakfast or PW meal. thanks!
