Advice for beginner/sorry for the long read

I’m currently on a TRT protocol. I did a cyp250 solo cycle for my first one. I got some advice from another forum and started the TRT250 and Anavar as a “cruise” to my next run. They said since it wasn’t considered a heavy cycle, PCT wasn’t necessary, that I would be better off running the TRT “protocol”. That being said, I want to get bigger and leaner but want to avoid crazy blood work results. I’m type 2 diabetic, was 300lbs 7 months ago and dropped to 250 then started gear. I get blood work every three months. And take very few meds for it bc I’ve gotten it under control. Any good advice on what to run/stack and a schedule to go off of? Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to give some background to the post so whoever answers has some potential needed info to answer properly.

That is some background. But not really very much.

It would be helpful to know your:

  • Age
  • Height
  • Number of years training with weights
  • Strength on Bench Press, Squat, and Deadlift
  • Body composition or pic of yourself
  • Goal to achieve

Bench 325

Never really got heavy with squat and deadlift. Just working sets(185-225) till failure or a 12,8,6,4,2 rep set Usually stopping at 275 on DL and 350 on squat

I’ve been training for a year now.

I want to tone up while getting bigger. Realistically I know that’s just turning fat into muscle but I want to get around 230-245. I’m currently 250 with a somewhat strict diet. Basically carnivore-ish/keto. Carbs stay relatively low.

IMO, you should stay on TRT for at least two more years, and then assess where you progressed. (When I say TRT, I mean try to achieve a high normal Total Testosterone for a young man. When you pull your blood do so in the trough and try to be in the 800 ng/dL area. This should be plenty to add muscle at a reasonable rate.)

You look to have a very good foundation, from your pic, to develop a powerful physique. Try to be patient and consistent.
