Hello guys I am 21 years old. Currently weighing 190lbs around 18-20% bodyfat. Considering doing my first cycle. I have been training 2 years and 4 months consistently but have always played sports and took weights in highschool. The attached image has my mock draft of what I am planning on doing. Just looking for some opinions/adjustment options from experienced users. I’m open to any suggestions. What do you all think?
I think you need more time in the gym, i think you need to lean out, and I think you need to work more than just arms and traps.
Also, i think you will find a 22g 1.5" needle to be quite unpleasant.
-
I did get precycle blood work done and my test was 560 ng/dL
-
Sleep most of the time I am pretty good on. Typically 8-9 hours of sleep.
-
I do drink alcohol but not too often maybe once every two weeks.
-
My plan for my diet is to eat around 180-200 G protein and around 3500 cals but it’s all still under work.
-
My diet could use some work without a doubt. Between being in school, work, and working out it seems to be a struggle. That part I am still trying to figure out.
-
I don’t do cardio very often. Maybe once a week.
-
Currently I am lifting 6 times a week push, pull, legs, rest, push, pull, legs.
-
I do track all my workouts and have two full notebooks so far.
-
My goals are to gain size but also lean out a little.
Thank you for the advice. I promise I hit legs two times a week🤣 the picture makes them look smaller than they are. What size needle do you recommend ?
You probably don’t want to mess this up by cycling.
This is yet another reason not to start. I’m not saying to never do it, just saying maybe wait until you can dedicate more time/effort to doing it properly.
Also, seriously you should lean out first. Last thing you need is a gyno flate up while trying to balance these things.
Pick one. You cant gain and lose(be in a surplus and deficit) at the same time. Other than that i think you definitely are good to be go.
22g is good for drawing I personally use a 25g slower inject but less painful you don’t wanna slam it into your muscle if you inject to quick you’ll know it if it’s your first cycle just run test to start 500 a week work on chest back and core and take armidex .5mg EOD I don’t wait to get signs of gyno because it could be to late by the time you get them and then your fighting to get it down and let’s be real no man hates tits unless there on another dude I will always tell first time users run a cycle of test first just to make sure it’s something you wanna do! But your cycle looks good if you wanna run it everything seems good I would add some deca in there for joints 300 every week personal choice tho!
I’d like to see you have a little more muscle separation before getting into AAS. Your arms look big, but I cannot see either yours biceps or your triceps.
What kind of strength do you have?
- Bench Press
- Squats
- Pull-ups
I don’t ever really one rep max but currently I can do bench 3X3 275lbs. 3X6 315 deadlift. 315 3X3 squat.
Give us an idea of how fast you are progressing:
- How long ago were you getting 225lbs 3x3 reps?
- How long ago were you getting 245lbs 3x3?
- …255lbs 3x3?
- …265lbs 3x3?
I am trying to see if you have plateaued recently, or quite some time ago.
225X3 was about two years
I have been stuck repping 275 since last October. For 3X3
I was hoping for 5 points so I could graph a regression to see which curve best fit your data, linear, quadratic, or cubic.
Now I only have 2 points. For linear I need 3 points (for regression curve fitting requires two degrees of freedom.)
If you cannot remember it is okay, I just cannot generate a curve. It would give you a visual view of your rate of progress.
I am expecting to see the quadratic or cubic with a better fit than linear.
Most likely plateau instead of staying linear.
Quadratic requires four points, and cubic five points, as you know.
Plus I should have asked how long OP has been doing 275lbs
If linear is the best fit, OP has no case for AAS use.
This is the single most important aspect of achieving the ‘look’. My advice is to get your nutrition plan sorted out and lose a little bit more BF. I don’t advise cycling, especially for young people, but if you do you are just going to get “bigger” without much of a recomp. You have some size, I would like it to show more.
