Hi everyone, I am Emmanuel Katto. What advanced training techniques do you use to break through plateaus in strength gains? Any specific methods you’ve found particularly effective?
Thanks in advance!

Emmanuel Katto

For what lifts?
What current programme are you following? How long have you been training?
Right now i am doing Ed Coan’s bench program. I dont know how scientific it is, but it is going well.
If you try it, i recommend cooling it on squat and deads (do more reps and less weight). My CNS is fried right now, because I keep going ham on deads. I love heavy squats right before deadlifts, so one thing leads to another.
But i assume you have run an LP…maybe a few times. If you are an intermediate that has run texas method or one of the other programs, i cant help you really. I consider myself intermediate and am still getting gains through doing bodybuilding phases in between my power blocks.
I suggest checking out Matt wenning. Guy is probably the most knowledgeable about getting gains for a long time without running yourself into the ground
