I had posted earlier asking questions about workouts for those of us recovering from ACL surgery.
Well, I went over the Super Strength workout with the trainers at my gym and they’ll help me out with setting up and getting the weights to me while I’m on crutches.
In the workout, King mentioned that you could throw in lower body workouts during the week since the upper body portion is 2X a week. Since I can’t do ANY lower body right now with my knee out of whack, would it be counter-productive to throw in one of the ab workouts from the FAQ page 2 or 3 times a week.
This is probably a dumb question, but I didn’t want to negate any gains or advances I’ll see with the super stregth workout.
Thanks for the help and I have to say, this forum is exactly what I’ve needed to get my excitement back to peak levels. After surgery, I’ve been down and out for 2 weeks and borderline depressed because I can’t exercise like I was pre-surgery. I’d like to thank all of you for making me feel as giddy as a schoolgirl about getting back into the mix.
