It is part of the problem as it’s evidently producing the wrong numbers. Check them manually if you don’t believe me.

No it wouldn’t, your calculator is doing the wrong maths. Do it yourself, or find another way to do it.
I’ve never had a cycle repeat on me and the smallest weights I have access to are 1.25kg. Consider buying some of these for about $10 if your gym doesn’t already have them.
