ECA is great, but I would be cautious about using this with testosterone tbh. Heart rate problems etc. At least wait a little until you know how your heart rate responds while on cycle.
I always find ECA tricky to dose. Sometimes I can take a dose and be completely fine, then the next day I take the same dose and my heart rate spikes through the roof.
ECA nukes my appetite
ECA is excellent in my opinion as pre workout and appetite suppresant. I still use it time to time but when on higher doses of testosterone I am cautious about using it too much.
You would be amazed how little test do you need comparing to how much test you think you need and see people using these days. Same goes for every other drug around. Less is more here my friend. Consistency, having a solid plan and executing it religiously with patience and discipline is what separates the men from the boys.
Wish nothing but success.
Regards,
Bel.

I have thought about clen but have been weary about the sides… I’m not sure if sides can be limited with keeping the dose down and maybe stretching it out over a little more time or what…

Not as “sexy” as adding a bunch of additional drugs but very effective to get under 10% BF in my experience. Since bodyfat level is >80% diet. Congrats on the progress and good luck with the next 10% bodyfat drop!
Also, check your typical blood markers in 6 weeks and then every few months to gauge your response to truly high fat diet. Individual response varies so my triglyceride/HDL ratio may stay < 1 but yours may not. Lot of veggies. Sorry, you don’t get to have carbs before lunch until your metabolism can handle them. That means under 12% bodyfat if you are serious about body recomposition. Also pick up a copy of Bodyopus and then McDonald’s UD2.0 for more of a deep dive. You don’t need more drugs to get lean unless you want a FFMI above 25 which is a different story. Keep up the great work on your body recomposition.
At 39 it’s hard to justify clen. Add in the fact that you probably did some long term heart damage by being overweight for a number of years and you’ve got two big red flags for clen. I’d say keep up with the diet and the training and focus on how that will make you genuinely healthier. Clen will shed the weight, but it won’t make you healthy.
As an aside, if you have the choice between meal prep for the day or a workout (you can’t have both in this scenario) which do you choose?
I know the answer your looking for… I would probably choose to train. But I do meal prep on Sundays for the work week. 6oz chicken splash of cilantro and red onion
1/2 cup black beans
1 cup or more of broccoli
2 packs of plain tuna
A couple of apples
Hand full of mixed nuts
A protein bar for after the gym
1 cup plain Greek w/ a squirt oh MIO
Dinner is generally chicken and spinach or ahi tuna, venison or red meat and veggies

What’s your break down of weight training vs cardio look like? How many cardio sessions and for how long each week?
I came from 300 lbs to 175lbs then built up to 205 100% naturally I sit around 225-230 with gear. It took years and multiple trial and errors with diet and training programs. Months of loss motivation and fatigue don’t lose focus.

What was your preferred method of cardio?
I typically do high volume weight training with 60-90 seconds between sets for about 45- 1 hour… then I switch from elliptical for 15 minutes and maintain a hr of 13-140
None!
But I did a shit load of it. Starting out at 300 my fat ass was on a sationary bike for 1 1/2 hrs a day. This also happened to be all I had acess to. As I lost weight I got the gym membership switched over to the elyptical then started eventually running. I always did interval training on whatever cardio exercise I was doing.

Im a fan of high volume training with short rest altho I think you need to focus a bit more on the cardio start increasing time and play around with intensity
That actually sounds like a pretty enjoyable diet, all things considered. Add some hard boiled eggs into your mix. Easy to make a big batch on a Sunday night and they’ll last you 5-7 days in the fridge. Good quick protein and fat with tons of nutrients.

I look forward to spinning after I lift. It’s almost like a relief because I do strictly LISS and I let my mind wander for that 25-35 minutes. It’s good to clear your head and be just burning calories while thinking about absolutely nothing sometimes. Also, I know I’m a sociopath because I never listen to music at the gym. I’m one of three people who’s not wearing headphones or earbuds at any given time.

Stopped listening to music a few months ago since I’d always psyche myself up with it. Training is more productive without it for me and in my gym most of the strong guys in the cages and racks don’t listen to music. There’s more of us sociopaths it seems

That’s one of the things that had me interested in adding another compound… I don’t want to lose the strength and muscle I have now just this ugly fat… The last time I lost a bunch of weight I went from 293 to 205… at 293 I could rep 225 for 32 on bench… but when I got to 205 I was maybe getting it for 10… the guy who ran my gym told me do you wanna look like a power lifter or bb lol… But I also worked a lot less was 26 and had no kids… The less calories diet I can feel myself starting to slip a bit in the weights already
Does clean work if you’re ~17% bf or is it more for somebody trying to get that last little bit
This is normal. Your going to feel weak in a calorie deficit that’s just how it is. Don’t focus on numbers in the weight room focus on the movement and mind muscle connection. I think it’s hilarious when I see guys swinging up 45lb dumbbells for curls with all thier body weight and they probably think I’m hilarious using a 30lb dumbell but Im twice thier size.
Does it work. Yes of course. Is it a good idea, probably not. Clen for a fat person is like steroids for a skinny person. You can accomplish so much without it with proper diet and training why use it until you can really benefit from it.

Dude, I would recommend getting your diet in check. Greg doucette videos will give you direction. While cutting calories and cardio, along with hard weight training, you can do an eca stack. Run that for a month with the exercise and diet to see where that gets you. I cut up on 150 mg of test and cleaning up my diet. No beer, no alcohol, no sweets. BS free for 4 months now and most of the fat is gone. I would not try clen until you have you shit together.
