ACTrain: How Do You Train?

cool, thanks that’s what i do. 1 last question. do you flex/suck in your abs when measuring or stand relaxed?

Definitely looking thicker bro. I don’t think you’ve reached the point of going ‘too far’ yet. Obviously your own body will tell you when it’s crossing that ‘line’, but your frame can definitely hold over two bills!

Thanks bro. I always appreciate your insight.

I take all my measurement first thing in the morning. All measurements are relaxed. For biceps I also take a flexed measurement.

Looking big cuz!

You have great results!

Have you tweaked your diet at all since youve been going?

My nutrition has remained mostly the same. I started a new job in March where we are provided lunch. So my lunch is typically a protein fat meal as opposed to protein carbs only because the carb choices available are usually junk foods.

I’m taking 6 Flameout and 6 FA3 per day (3 each at dinner and 3 each before bed).

About 8 weeks ago I began taking 2 Curcumin 500 per day (1 at lunch and 1 at dinner). I injured my left shoulder, around the AC joint, pretty bad almost 1 year ago. My chest work was limited to machines and neutral grip dumbbell press.

I tried many things; rest, rehab exercises, ART, stretching. My shoulder didn’t get significantly better until recently. So much that I was able to perform the IBB Chest Phase. I’m truly a believer in Curcumin.

Thats good to know, i might try it to help with my nagging (mild) scoliosis.

Have you found a sweet spot with your protein intake? Is it 1.5g per lb? and it looks like you are carb cycling? or is it just separating your carbs and fats?

thanks

Not sure what you mean by a sweet spot. I’m about 1.75 g/lb on workout days and between 1.25 and 1.5 on non workout days. On a low protein day I have less than 100g total so it is about .5g/lb .

Yes, carbs and fats are separated but I’m not too worried to sometimes have a piece of fruit with P+F or some healthy oil with P+C.
I’m not exactly carb cycling. I have less carbs and overall calories on the days I don’t train because I don’t consume the Anaconda Protocol.

…word.

still gaining?

I’m 206 right now. I backed off the calories a bit a few weeks ago. I was away on a 4 day business conference sitting all day and my low back flared up real bad. So I’ve been hitting the reverse hyper hard and not doing squats or deadlift variations. My back is feeling much better, so glad I have access to a reverse hyper.
I have a vacation planned in 2 weeks when I get back from vacation I plan on adding squats back into my training.

still wanting to gain?! you are an animal. Squats will do it.

Have you found any benefits from doing lower abs to help your back? I have a terrible back too and hanging leg raises improve EVERYTHING for me.

Yes, I’m going to continue to add size.

I haven’t trained abs directly in atleast a year. Last week I decided to reintroduce some ab training thinking it could help my low back. I did 3 sets of ab wheel rollouts and my abs hurt for 3 days. I’ll give the hanging leg raises a shot.

Lower back does feel pretty good. I need it to be rock solid.
