I realize 255 to 315 seems like a big jump, but I’ve been thinking for awhile that I really ought to be able to handle 315 just fine for my dynamic effort squat days, and today I finally pulled the trigger. I’m going to build slowly from doing four doubles up to the full eight doubles at 315 (today I did a couple extras at 225 before adding weight), but by late fall I think 8x2x315 will hopefully be the permanent weight for my weekly box squats.
