Thanks! I’d been doing deadlifts as >75% of my training for over three years (and still want that 700!) but just decided that a couple months pushing the squat would be a fun change of pace. I also really like Olympic lifting and think this brings me a little closer to that sport. So far things are feeling pretty good and the weights are still moving up. If this goes well, I might adopt sort of a seasonal / periodization approach where I alternate “daily squats” and “daily deadlifts” every couple of months.

The double at 415 was outstanding, wish I’d taken a video. Really happy with that.
