Acid Alkaline?

Which would be more important, getting those bases and acids to balance? or consuming the right amount of protein?
Its pretty hard to balance out, even with green drinks?

Also what is the PH of yam or sweet potato? It seems like oats are pretty acid. I guess glycemic index doesn’t correlate to good base carbs. would potatos, peas, and white rice would be better options than typical oats and beans? And RED WINE ??

Eat more > balanced acid/bases

unless you have gone wayout whacky land of all acids or all bases … which I have at times.

Ive read that article a few times, plus others. Including PH miracle(book). Its very convincing not to be in a net acid overload.

I just wonder lets say is it better to eat 250 g of protein a day, with moderate amount of vegetables, or cut that down to 180 g of protein and a ton of vegetables, and use more whey protein. So that you can balance out your acids.

The whole business of being GH resistant, and such makes me wonder what the impact of over acidity really is.

I think its harder to be alkaline that anything else>

curiously does anyone know what the pral score or a yam or sweek potato? if its alkaline or acidic? I think its alkaline but don’t know if its equal to potato?

I think everyone is different. Do what works for you. If it does not work, do something else. All research findings are only guidelines to set you off in a direction that should work.

All this fuss of one thing over another is over-complicating things.

What IS it exactly that you are trying to achieve that you cannot achieve eating/living the way you do now?

The difference between 260g + veges and 180g + whey + veges is going to be bugger all difference, it won?t be life transforming, then again, maybe it WILL be for you, so give it a try.

But my guess is that none of this really matters and you are over complicating things for some reason, and that is the real issue you need to address (your desire to overcomplicate your diet).

I mean, do you feel like lethargic rubbish all the time?
Are you struggling to make any progress?
Are you really starving, weak, fat or whatever?
Why the need to analyse all this?
