Whats tendinitis in your calf feel like?
Feels like shit brah. It’s a constant dull ache and if I try to spring off that leg on it’s own it feels like there’s not as much power there as there should be. It’s kinda similar to elbow tendinitis if you’ve ever had that, though I think the pain in the elbow can be a bit sharper.

Your training always looks so interesting and well thought out, would love to see what you could do for a chaotic, a.d.d based training style like mine!
Haha thanks brah I appreciate that a lot - I like to think of it as controlled chaos but I put a lot of thought in to my workouts and the long plan. A lot of my previous time working out was all by feel, but as I learned more about programming and periodisation I realised I could make better gains by combining the two.
And I do provide these controlled chaos programming services for a small price to anyone out there who may be interested.

Power Cleans:
3 on the minute for 10 minutes
Total Reps: 33 - miss counted on Monday lol
These were tougher than on Monday but I was also generating WAY more power - I was catching these with my legs completely straight. Form improved with each minute.
Ab Fallouts On Rings:
3
10
10
Surprised myself with these, felt pretty strong.
Cardio:
On the old Weider bike (lol)
30 seconds @ 7 or 8
30 seconds @ 4 or 5
5 minutes total.
Nice. Will gradually build up the minutes and intensity on this. Ease myself back in to cardio gently.
Notes:
Pretty great session, felt great throughout. My sleep pattern lately is fucked though, I’m not going to bed early enough or getting enough sleep.

Strict Deadstop Press From Pins at Chin Height:
20kg x 5
30kg x 4
40kg x 3
50kg x 5
55kg x 5 x 4 - awesome
These felt great, really got them in my delts. Noticed some odd strength curve patterns; start of the press was very strong for the first two reps then quickly tapered off, but lock out got more positive and dominant as the set went on. Happened every working set. =/
Bench with Feet Up:
20kg x 15
60kg x 10 x 5 - every set felt easy and awesome
Got a pretty nice pump going. Worked in 15 band pullaparts between each working set.
Then I fancied trying something a bit different. I wanted to create an unstable bar, like a bamboo bar or one with weights hanging from bands. My steel plates are the tri-grip variety and the handles are big enough to slot over the sleeves. I hung the 20s on to the sleeves through the handles and tried it out:
Unstable Bar Bench:
60kg x 15 - pretty interesting!
So these felt pretty cray. Not sure what, if any useful carry over they might have but they were fun. Wouldn’t want to go heavy with these at all as the bar was wobbling back and forth a tonne. Did another set of 15 band pullaparts after.
Notes:
Awesome session. Took me under half an hour to get all this work done and it’s hot as balls today so I am sweating like a mofo too. Felt great the whole session and the unstable bar bench was a fun thing to try out.
