Abandoning 1st Cycle

Hi all,

I’m 24, 6.1, 190 lbs, and have a body fat of 27%.

I jumped the gun and began running 250 mg of test enanthate. After doing some research, I realized my friend wasn’t as knowledgeable as I thought he was. My body fat is way too high and so, after 2 shots at 1 shot a week, I’m stopping the cycle. My main concern is that I’ve been unable to obtain Nolvadex.

Will I be okay without it? I’m feeling quite down and am worried I may get some sides in the coming weeks being that it won’t be out of my system for another 3.

Lesson learned. Any advice?

Thanks

You should be alright after 1 weeks worth of test at a low dose, it shouldn’t have suppressed you much. 250mg/wk is more than a TRT dose but below what is generally considered a newbie to steroids bodybuilders dose.
With a high percentage of bodyfat one of your biggest concerns on cycle is aromatization which causes gyno. So If you try a cycle again make sure you have an aromatase inhibitor like arimidex, when the cycle is over nolva for PCT.

Wasn’t quite sure if you were running 250mg, per week total(split into 2 doses), or 500mg total (in 2 x 250mg doses). Even so after 1 week at 500mg/week you won’t see much if any positives or negatives that you were on anything at all.
Nolva or clomid is always good to have on hand but you should be fine without.

You will be fine. Also, get your shit together beforehand next time. It is crazy to just see the same mistakes over and over and over.

6’1 190lbs @27% bf? How is that possible

My guess would be he’s using one of those scales that tell you you’re bodyfat when you weigh yourself.

OP: 250mg Test-E/week isn’t a cycle it is a high end TRT dose.

You seem scared more than anything, and if you are a paranoid type who thinks steroid use will cause you great future health problems, then yes hop off immediately. Secondly, get blood work done and monitor yourself and see where you’re at. Do not be dependent on some friend for YOUR health. You might need to get your hands on an AI.

Otherwise calm down and continue on with your “cycle”. Even if you are severely overweight, a low TRT type dose as you are taking will aid you in your fat loss assuming you’re eating and training correctly. If there’s even a chance that this guy is actually 190 lbs, 27% bodyfat, how can you possibly advise him to continue this cycle?

It’s not a cycle it’s TRT.

If he plans to do this forever, it’s TRT. If he plans to come on and off at this dose, it’s a cycle.

But we can call it TRT if you’d like. You’re suggesting that this guy should go on TRT without even knowing what his testosterone levels were at naturally? That seems even nuttier.

So if I stay on 250mg/week for 5 years then plan to come off I was only cycling?

Getting blood work first is always preferable but he’s already started to pin.

Just because you are in range doesn’t mean anything on its own as many men who are in range benefit from TRT. You have to actually try it out see if you can benefit from it.

I personally believe there’s minimal risk for young healthy men to try out TRT to see if it suits them.
