I’m not sure if most people already do this, but I like to make sure I don’t go all the way back up with the wheel in order to keep constant tension on the abs throughout the set…kinda like not locking out reps on pressing to keep the chest under constant tension. I also try to get a one second squeeze where I stop when I bring it in.

I worked up to a single standing…cannot imagine the strength needed for 1 arm+weight vest.

I find that if I keep my back ever so slightly rounded (more ‘abs clenched’), strain is taken off the back

I’ll give that a try next time. Earlier I tried not going so far down so that the lower back wasn’t hyperextended and managed to keep a lot more tension in the lower back. I’ll have to give this a try standing and see if it makes a difference.
