ACTUALLY, I don’t drink so I’m like uber affordable to entertain. Mostly, I require chicken.

OHP DAY 11/3/2011

Its SABATON! again… yes there’s a theme here. Its whats up right now.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the result of a hundred battles”

EDIT Lets just add they lyrics:

I stand alone
And gaze upon the battlefield
Wasteland
Is all that’s left after the fight
And I’m searching a new way to defeat my enemy
Bloodshed
I’ve seen enough of death and pain

I will run - they will hunt me in vain
I will hide - they’ll be searching
I’ll regroup - feign retreat they’ll pursue
Coup de gr¢ce I will win but never fight [mercy killing]
That’s the Art of War!

Breaking the will to fight among the enemy
Force them to hunt me
They will play my game
And play by my rules
I will be close but still untouchable
No more will I see suffering and pain
They will find me no more
I’ll be gone

I will have them surrounded
They will yield without fight overrun

Overrun
Coup de gr¢ce

I will win but never fight
That’s the Art of War

Broken and lost
Tired of war
They’ll surrender to me
Caught in my trap
There’s no way out
Fail never again

Well I’m pretty comitted to the 5 3 1 so I’ve already got two UB days… OHP day and BP day… trying to think how that would work. It would be a fifth day not sure where I would fit it in… lemme ponder its not a bad suggestion!

Perhaps time for deload if you feel your motivation slipping?

I don’t think I can face that right now either.

I dunno. Just an idea…I always skimped out on arms/abs so that’s how I came up with that.
I do mine on the weekend but you probably have more of a social life or like to sleep in etc.

What did you chose as your accessory work? What I mean is, are you doing the BBB, Triumvirate, B.Builder? What say you?

No its off of various programs I had from my coach. Its lots of bb accessory work and its push pull. You think is too much maybe? Maybe thats my problem… I dunno! I mean I was doing these same workouts but with just different first exercises before actually MORE volume on squat Dl OHP and BP before I switched to the 5 3 1. My old program was more volume.

Like for example squat day everything after the squats I was doing on my old program… but I was doing five sets of 10-15 squats FIRST. So now that I’m doing 5 3 1 for the main lift way fever squat reps but more weight on the bar. BUT WAY FEWER REPS!

I’ve found that my last sets do as they please. As long as you’re hitting at least the prescribed reps don’t fret. I also finally (mostly) beat it into my head that you should leave a rep or two in the tank and not try for a rep pr every week on every lift. Your next week and cycle will thank you for doing so.

Remember that improvements come in spurts, etc. Looks like you’re working pretty hard so just stay after it. (I know you will, just adding encouragement and stuff)

I’m using you for your metal too, by the way. Always good to get a new source of bands I may not have heard.

Awesome@Metal! That makes me velly velly happy.
And thanks for this… I’ve never actually trained for strength before like this so its a learning process. I’m off my game right now for various non gym related reasons making it even harder to assess whats really going on.

Hallowed - What phone app do you have that does all of those memes?

With this being in play rt now, might I suggest trying the BBB next cycle. Maybe clear your mind of some clutter. I find it’s lot easier to focus & prioritize all things.

Umm I’ve no metal to offer. Don’t think my style grooves w/this theme.

I’ll think about it for sure.

Your style grooves with me… thats what matters.

Okay, I saw the quote before I listened to the song and was like “Art of War?” Then it all made sense.

You probably know these guys, but seems to fit your theme. RaaaAAWWRRR!!
