Never heard of Reverse T3 syndrome - what a mess![/quote]

I aint gonna lie… Dragons are vastly superior :stuck_out_tongue:
LULZ @ not eating lamb. Not even with mint jelly? That shits bomb.

so much win.

Doctor Update:

HELLA HAPPY. She is very aggressive treatment wise is going to keep upping my T3 until I’m back over halfway of range… last time I was there I felt great.

Another 12.5mcg increase in T3 today with another 10mcg bump to 200mcg in ten days.

Plus a SHITTON of adrenal and cortisol supplements and a scrip for Cortef also.

So, yay. Should be all ready to SERIOUSLY diet um around February 1st.

I’m HUMONGOUS!!!

Oh please if you’re humongous I’m off the charts.

sounds like 2012 will flow with a lot of changes. My water dragon and I are ready for anything

Getting.
Shit.
DONE!

I like it. Good for you for knowing your body and doing what needs to be done to take care of it.

You have low cortisol too? Taking cort exogenously is kinda a last resort thing as I understand it, since it can hinder your body from being able to make its own.

Seeing you rock has me hopeful I’ll eventually figure out why the hell I’m always so tired.

YOU AIN’T HUMONGOUS! You really do look better now then you did back when you were dieting. Not saying that you didn’t look good then too, I just think this bod really suits you.

WHATEVVVVVVA.

AWesome PR!! you’ll be well over 200 before you know it. Yep, deadlifting is king. I don’t care what people say. As awesome as squatting is, nothing feels better then a super pull.

Funny you should mention dragons, I was just looking through some dragon pics the other day. Or well more specifically because of nlmain, dragons and mermaids. But found this really cool one.

any idea why your T3 was bottoming out anyway?

This RT3 thing…maybe why I don’t feel so special with ARmour anymore. My body was like 'oooooh, T3! sank yous!!! And then a week later, blah.

2 more weeks til my appt with a top doc!!! can’t wait.

YOU are twice as strong as me! But point taken… I am not humongous… and I sadly am maybe not even the HYOOJESTGIRLINTHEWORLD! But I DID completely overshoot my Dreamer Bulk and need to dial back in hard core.

2012 is indeed going to be most GLORIOUS. While I know your totem animal is wolfy… you have claimed yourself a Dragon so Dragon is yours too!

GSD! GSD! Felt great to get that appointment taken care of yay! And with the result I hoped for too yay yay!

In hindsight… it wasn’t 5 31 that was laying me out… it was lack of T3. I should have caught on sooner but had reached a take it for granted point in my treatment. Ooops!

A.m. cortisol was 10… she likes it 20. I need to check the cortef scrip (left it at the pharmacy) I do not think it is a very high dose. Listen you! Keep pursuing this gawd its a fucking hassle but the tired I felt and the tired you are talking about IS NOT NORMAL. I wish everyone could come to Holtorf! Soooo lucky I am able to they really are the best. Lots of good info on their website too.

Ok ok not HUMONGOUS but again, way way dreamer bulk to like fantasy levels of fat! Grny said the same thing about not loving the look of my figure under 140LBS. Honestly I didn’t either or I never would have bulked in the first place. 137 is a low scale weight for me my height my muscles… and it did NOT look like WoWo! I’m gearing up to cut fat though. No be argue I can’t fit in my pants!

Stoked on the pull! DL really is my best lift and I am HELLA FUCKING HAPPY to be recovered from my minor injury/setback that had me off my progression for MONTHS! I want mines two plate DL!

More than the RT3 MIMs I think you really need more more more T3! see if new doc will scrip you pharmacy compounded slow release T3 only no T4 that will be best for you.

As far as what was happening with MY T3 a couple of things… she did say that as a “bodybuilder” (yay!) My body can just rip through it… we really can need and consume much more than sedentary people. She also says that the adrenals need support. Which I’m now getting. Everything is tied together. The low cort and over extended adrenals fucks up the t3 too! Its all too complex for me. So damn glad I trust my doc to figure it out instead of knowing MORE than the quacks (yeah I said it!) That I used to be stuck with!!!

good to know. See, I is smaht afterall!
I’ll bring this up with my new doc(exercisers needing MORE than average T3)

weren’t you in good hands before(recently??)

I think my adrenals are fine but if she recommends some kind of support(and prescribes it I’m not paying damnit! lol) then I wouldn’t be against it. The blood test I got for morning cortisol was kinda lowish(13) My new Doc does the 24 hr saliva which is supposed to be more accurate.

I need to work on my VITd3 and Feritin more for sure…both veddy low :frowning:

Dr. Evans was VERY interested in if I have ever been told I’m anemic and went back to check my original Feritin labs (I have great levels there) just to re-re-re-confirm that its not an issue. So DEFINATELY work on that Ferritin! I was originally extremely D Defficient and was taking mega doses for quite awhile. I am also a tanner (10 minutes per sess don’t let it touch my face) so my levels are up into the 40’s. She wants me to increase my dose there also she likes D into the 60’s says it protects against breast cancer etc.

So yes work on the Feritin and VitD fo sho!

I get the impression that the maxed out adrenals is part of the reason the T3 is hurting so its for sure worth taking care of THAT too. armchairpiratedoctoralert

NO I did NOT have good care before OMG! I started with my regular GP good old Doc Silver who was pretty old fashioned (in the good way) with thyroid treatment. He would prescribe for ANYONE with a TSH over 2. Yes I know treating from TSH but he totally disregarded the lab range LOL. IT WAS a little fight to get Armour from him instead of synth T4 but he agreed when I insisted (politely). As far as that goes I think I was very lucky from a General Practicioner Standpoint.

I THEN found Dr. Katherine Grellet on the thyroid websites “Top Doc” list. Oh she sure LISTENED which I guess is why some patients liked her but ended up freaking out when my TSH was “oversupressed” LOFL DUMBASS DOCTOR. said I was HYPER and cut my measly 10mcg of T3 off completely. Told me I am “getting older” and tried NUMEROUS times to write me a scrip for an ANTIDEPRESSANT and a FAT BLOCKER. Dumbdumbdumb. I was stuck with her for like a year before I sucked it up and spent the several thousand bucks for Holtorf treatment (the bulk of that was 3k worth of initial bloodwork they tested for EVERYTHING). The first two visits there as new patient are also $400 each or maybe $500… visits now are $295. It aint cheap girl… BUT I’ve got a Health Savings Account so at least its pre-tax $.

Holtorf doesn’t “take” any insurance anyway but they do give a superbill that can be submitted for reimbursement.

< - - - Edguy.

Thats what I meant.

I know you had shoddy care in the past but were being seen at Holtorf. You keep talking about a ‘new,’ Dr though…did your original one leave?

Dang I wonder how much VITD I need to be taking?? You take all that just to get into the 40s?? Is it prescription strength??

I hope I can get all this stuff prescribed instead of spending MORE money on all this.

No actually I totally stopped taking my VitD… boo bad Hallowed so it was probably way higher whe I was TAKING IT lol. So I’m back onto 5000IU 2x per day. VitD is just a lil ol thing very easy to take. I think it will bump back up quickly (My D) once I’m actually TAKING it again.

I was seeing Dr. chris Camilleri at Holtorf but he lives in Sacramento and was commuting to Foster City four days a week. His wife got pregnant and so yes he left the practice and is now replaced by Dr. Evans. It is all DOC Holtorff’s protocol so just as I suspected they all treat the same (want to get you to your best happiest best FEELING self) so nice yay.

Just checking in on you.

What is your plan for cutting while not screwing around with your hormonal situ?

Hey girl hey! Doc is fine with cal deficit once I’m on the 200mcg of T3

I will probably be basically following my old eating plan from my prior coach which is about 1600 cals lean protein plenty of it, some veg, some dairy, some good fats… and about 100-120g of carbs per day (not after lunch unless is PWO)

In addition i will be bumping the cardio… I’ve been doing about three pretty easy fasted d am cardio per week I will be adding two more higher intensity cardio on the deathmill or treadhill…

That said, STANDBY FOR DEETS i will be laying out a pretty detailed plan when this officially launches beginning of February.

For now, a few easy fasted am cardio per week and maintenence cals… but CLEAN
