Bulking really suits you lady!

I also think it’s super brave of you to have dived right into it like that! I would love to plan a bulk or something sometime, but I am honestly scared shitless.
You make it look REAL appealing though, I must admit… [/quote]

WELL, what happened was I got to a pretty low scale weight and wasn’t happy with how it looked. It was either diet more and get the scale even LOWER or start SERIOUSLY adding muscle mass. I chose the muscle mass.

That said, this was not a real bulk. This was a Dreamer Bulk of Epic Proportions. It started out perfectly reasonable but took a turn to cray cray somewhere in the middle of November. i don’t recommend.

Now I’m having to “pre-cut” which is basically adding a.m. fasted cardio as many mornings as I can dragass out of bed, and eating clean maintenence level calories.

I’m on max week this week so we’ll see how that goes. Crazy maxes tend to turn on the EAT ALL THE THINGS switch in my mind.

LET ME NOT FORGET WHAT I’m WORKING ON HERE…
WoWo!

DEADLIFT DAY 01/09/2012
WEEK TWO CYCLE FOUR OF 5 3 1

A. SUMO DEADLIFTS
5 x 85
5 x 105
3 x 125
3 x 145
3 x 165
3+ (9) x 185 +2 Rep PR

Grip held much better than usual… not sure why I didn’t hit ten but nine was where it was.
I intended to practice some light weight regular deadlifts (um as in not sumo) after these but it was SO FAWKIN late by the time I got to the gym I skipped it. Boo.

B. LYING LEG CURLS (slooooow movement constant tension)
10 x 75
10 x 75
10 x 75

Shoulda been four sets :frowning: yes I still hate these.

C. ROMANIAN DEADLIFTS
10 x 145
10 x 145
10 x 145

I’ve done three sets of eleven before… this was PLENTY damn damn heavy for me.

D1. CALF EXTENSIONS IN THE LEG PRESS(slow press long hold)
17 x 3plates
17 x 3plates

D2. ABS MAX REPS WEIGHTED DECLINE SIT UPS FULL RANGE OF MOTION (um, all da way down)
25 x 10LBS
22 x 10LBS

D3. SHRUGS (this is new!)
12 x 30
12 x 30

D1, D2 & D3 are a little circuit I was supposed to do three rounds but two was it.
Hit da wall yo.

SO WHat type of cardio do you do?? Is it just steady state or intervals or stairmaster of death or whaa?? I hate cardio, but I always make myself do it. I’m always interested in what other people do for cardio to see if it sounds less shitty than the stuff I do, Lol

We needed a gym pic from the last pump.

Getting ready to go do my cardio, yay!

Well right now its just a.m. fasted walking about 30 minutes four days a week if I’m lucky. I’m told this is an old bodybuilder muscle sparing trick… when I’m cracked on to cardio I usually do like three steady state 45-60 min on either the stairmill (moving staircase) or treadhill (hella high incline treadmill walking) per week plus one or two HIIT sessions treadmill 60/120 or upright bike 20/40

Is that a FAKE YAY T?
LOL. The only cardio complaint I have lately is the a.m. part. WALKING is easy. WALKING before work when I’m hella tie tie and has no coffee SUCKS.

I has no gym pump :frowning:

oooooohlala! YAY PACKAGE! You tell no one about the penguine stickers. Don’t wanna ruin my Rep.

I am now doing double overhand til I think I cant then switching to mixed.

CRAPASS LABS.

Got back my thyroid labs and I was right I really need T3 its tanked out to the bottom of the range which explains some unfinished workouts lately, poooooooor recovery time, and the lack of scale response to cleaned up diet and a.m. cardio.

Anyways, I got a small increase over the phone and have an appt. on 1/23 for another one hopefully two.

OBVIOUSLY I have been hitting PRs and feeling strong and swolle so part of the effect of seeing the labs is psychological. weird. SO I’m just posting this for the record. Levels should be improving soon.

Lol!!! I also got some penguin stickerz. I laughed out loud upon seeing them

Are you familiar w/ Brownstein’s work on iodine? http://www.amazon.com/Iodine-Need-Cant-Live-Without/dp/0966088239 I’ve been on Iodoral one per day for 1.5 yr and doing fine. When it’s warm (summer) I don’t even need T3.

Just for you!

Glad to hear you’re getting your “T” on! You were still killing those workouts even though you were a low. Can’t wait to see what you rep-out once the levels are back up.

Do you think peeps who train hard, naturally need MORE T3? Been thinking about that.

Great pic, H!

Penguins???

Glad you’re getting your stuff adjusted.

Guess I need to go find some leaves.

Penguins!!! I need to go pick up some stickers now to plaster all over my workout book! nods
