Tried using a hook grip, I can see myself using it more. I just need to get my thumbs used to it.

First day trying out IF. Not too bad. Waited until 3ish to break the fast. Dealing with the hunger wasn’t too bad. I did notice that prior to and during the session I was feeling sluggish, may be due to having fasted. But I was more productive this morning not having to eat.

EDIT: Tomorrow I’ll break my fast at around noonish and see how that affects my afternoon lifting session.

Glad too see you are trying out IF, its really working for me at the moment. Gives me a tonne of extra time in the morning not having to prep food for the day and make breakfast. I would also recommend trying out fasted training, I felt sluggish if I did my lifting after I broke the fast but have had some incredible lifting sessions fasted. Just make sure if you are training fasted you take some BCAAs and maybe some caffeine pills if you have them.

I guess reading that you were giving it a shot made me want to haha. Glad to hear it’s working well for you. How is yours set up? In terms of the time you break your fast and when you train, etc. I’ll try lifting after breaking my fast for at least a week or two, then I may try training fasted. Cool to know that you were able to have good session while fasted.

Well it was supposed to be a deload, but I felt like I had a push press PR in me. Really stoked about getting 2 plates overhead.

2nd day of IF. Dealing with the hunger was no biggy, just lots of water and a piece of sugar free gum. Ended the fast at 2:30ish. Didn’t feel sluggish during the workout, taking some Power Drive probably helped that. Besides that can’t really tell the effects of Power Drive.

It felt hawt. Recently I hit an easy 185 strict press. I might have a pound or two left in the tank.

It feels hawt right now with ~95 degree weather and no A/C. >:( (kewl thing about PA is that we have cold ass winters AND hot ass summers :P)
