a bunchxbaby weight (i.e. I’m weak)
Push presses felt smooth, but man it’s hard to breath while push pressing.
Inclines felt weak, so didn’t push it.
Tried my hand at some laterals and to say that I suck at them is an understatement. Looks like I’ll be doing laterals more often.
Thanks for finally getting a pic of the wheels. You have awesome quads.
Awesome shoulder work, and laterals is hard (IMO) to use heavy weight with and keep good form.

Thanks, I may or may not keep on doing direct shoulder work. I guess I’ll see how I feel come my next ‘shoulder workout’

Can’t wait to get my biochem final over with tomorrow. Having that off my plate will make tomorrow’s squattin’ session that much sweeter, almost cathartic haha.
Anyhoo recently I’ve noticed that when my carb intake is upwards of 100g a day, probably more like 150-200, I seem to feel kinda bloated and my midsection looks more plump. While if I keep the carbs to 50-100g I don’t have that bloat and look leaner.
Lately my main carb source has been oats, I may try eating more rice and see how that works. It may just be that oats make me bloated.
Very interesting about your body. I think you should manipulate the number of carbs before the carb source. Oats is a pretty good thing to eat.
I think that I’m carb sensitive like that, but I’ve been eating so many carbs for so long, my bloat looks normal =D

Well, I’ve been manipulating the amount of carbs for the past few months, so I’m thinking that I’ll try to change the carb source to see how that works, as well as manipulate the amount. I’ve already got a feeling for how oats work, and want to see how rice works. I have a feeling rice may work better seeing as I used to eat loads of rice growing up, so I might be more ‘tolerant’ to it haha.
Works for me. Rice is yummier than oats =D

Kinda sorta found the sweet spot for low bar placement, hence my going for PRs. Cut front squats short. Mentally drained. After watching the video, 14x235 looked much easier than it felt, but my lower back felt like weak sauce so didn’t push it further. Pretty stoked about finally hitting 3 plates and being able to squat in the 300s, next stop 365 and 405.
Congrats on the squat PRs. Yay!
