Thanks everybody.

DB Head and DoW, I am headin home to Arkansas today and will talk to my dad (a doctor) and some of his friends to get it checked out. This mornin the swellin has gone down, they are just black and red but no pain other than the toes, none in the foot itself.

LM, none are planned right now, but I will look into meets this spring and we can meet up and show them how real Fraternity men lift.[/quote]

Good to hear at least no pain in the foot. Still sucks man. But toes heal up quick. I’ve broken many over the years.

I like that you finished your workout after you broke your toes. hell-ya.

Well I mean, no profuse bleeding, I could still hobble, you do what you gotta do.

oh hell yes, check that out, it got blacker today.

Oh snap! That doesn’t look fun at all, bro. I broke my ankle and foot jetskiing (yes, on a jetski…) and the part that took the longest to heal was the foot break, as it was a toe bone that broke in the middle of my foot. Hope you heal up quick.

Steel toe deadlifting boots in your future perhaps?

That’s badass dude. Wish my dad wanted to lift weights and do something other than smoke cigs all day.

Forever alone.

(Not really, just cracks me up when you post that shit)

^The State v. The Brotherhood of Iron: Volume II

Traveled up to Fayetteville today, got to go to the old gym and lift with TBA, sorta. I didnt feel like riskin the broken toe (which keeps clicking, disturbingly enough) squatting heavy, so I opted for Dead Stop Good Mornings (start standing, go down and set the bar on the safety bars, stay tight, come back up).

Warmups

Good Mornings
135 x 2 x 8-10
225 x 2 x 6-8
275 x 2 x 3
315 x 2
345 x 1
365 x 1
385 x 1
405 x 1

Some chinups and stretching.

Kept it short, was really good gettin back and seein TBA, hes still holdin fayetteville down for me.

Those are some retardedly sick GM numbers man. and from a dead stop… awesome.

Did some pushups, had some pizza, dammit Im on break.

Pushups (various hand placements) /ss/ band pull aparts
4 x 10-15 each

Holy crap on the GM’s!!

Can you tape the toe? Even to stop the clicking, lol? Bummer, injuries suck :frowning:

And those are some ridiculous GMs. My back hurts just reading them.

So I drive back from Little Rock to Jackson, arrive go to the gym with 45 min to spare…and they are closed. FFFUUUUUUU.

At least you got a good workout in anyway. Did you feel teh burn? That’s all that matters, ya know

That’s so cool you got to lift with your dad. Does he lift on his own normally, or was it something he did just to hang with you?
