I say good for him. Hotel gym suck and simply setting foot in one is often enough to discourage me from getting a workout in. Oh, your “gym” has a Bowflex, a treadmill and a set of 15lb dumbbells? Fuck it, I’ll just go to the bar instead. Obama put in some work.
As a side note, I think Teddy Roosevelt would probably have the biggest deadlift of our Presidents. He could pull more with a bleeding gunshot wound in his chest than Obama could ever dream of.

He was actually taller and bigger than Reagan, but Regan’s personality was such that he was perceived as bigger.
