Haha yeah man. I think I could sum up my most recent block as thinking about training harder than actually training.

Kinda hard to tell but I think the calves are growing, may be more noticable at the end of Dec so I’ll update again then.

Ok, I know i didn’t officially joined into this… since I felt it shouldn’t count since I am running
a conjugate approach and would be tweaking and rotating movements and such along with volume and reps based off of feedback I was getting. But since I am still going strong on it… I am shocked at the amount of force im starting to generate on squats. Mostly shocked due to that fact I didnt expect much improvement in that area due to my age…

I don’t think I’ll finish it. For the first time I’m demotivated about training. Well demotivated about everything but never about the gym like that. I don’t have the patience or mental fortitude to do hundreds of light full snatches and still failing some sometimes. I want to do something that I enjoy a bit.

Maybe something about pure hypertrophy or hypertrophy/strength. Though I liked the full body approach. But I think I want/can only devote 4 times a week right now

I’ve found that a lot of CTs programs aren’t for me. I’m not into all the different methods in one session. SGSS and The Complete Power Look are my favorites.

Actually I like these. It’s just that the challenge is what 4 months? And I picked a 10 weeks program so of course now I have to dabble a bit. But it’s mainly the fact that I’m not prominent enough in the full lifts (especially the full snatch and the split jerks) that annoy me.

My best body parts are and were always my back, traps, glutes. i think I want to devote time to the beach muscles (chest, back,d elts, abs and calves) for once!

So will there be a secret Santa?

That was some other crazy person’s idea. That’s not for me. The whole purpose of this for me was to find a method of training and stick with it. I know I’m copying SGSS, but I don’t want to get sucked into doing programs again because I always pick stuff that’s different and has very little carry over from one to the next. With any luck, I’ll continue running this SGSS style of training indefinitely. I think I might even run the phases as written again soon.
