A Few Questions

I’d like to start injecting sub q two times week at 50mgs

  1. Thoughts on sub q injection and any literature backing it.

  2. I have only given IM injections. Any help or advice for sub q injection? Videos or diagrams you know of?

  3. How will this effect my tests? I don’t want my dose to get lowered because my levels are spiked due to timing of injection.

  4. Needle size? Can I just purchase this from anywhere ie Amazon?

Thanks guys

Also the test bottle I got from the pharmacy is really tiny it only holds 200mgs. Is this normal? I figured it’d be a bigger bottle.

Have you read through the Sticky that is titled “TRT: Protocol For Injections”?

Yes sir

I think I’m going to use A 29g insulin needle. Unless there is another preferred method.

Also just watched a few videos in sub q injections and it seems pretty easyAnd offers a lot options.

My questions now are needle size? Can I purchase it anywhere? Will my tests spike? And is the bottle really tiny?

Vials are typically 10ml, 200mg/ml. Do you understand what that means?

In most jurisdictions, you can get boxes if insulin needles without Rx. In USA, at Walmart or SAM’s Club, get their house brand “ReLion”. Around $13/100.

Injecting SC EOD will provide very smooth T levels, less spiking. Then the TT, FT and E2 lab results are much more meaningful. Do labs on the off-day, always the same so changes in labs are not changes in lab timing.

50mg twice a week is OK, there will be some peaks, do labs half way between injections.

SC provides for smoother T release, smaller peaks and shallower troughs.
