I hear ya, but look at things from my perspective. I post a good article, and about 8 or 9 guys come in a flame me for an obvious accident, even after TC confirmed that the ad was on the site in the middle of the article.

okay man, check THIS out. Why do you think this is?
This whole thread/everyone on it is NOT about the artice/mistake you posted…it’s dragged over from other threads. This is apparent and has been stated.
Why is this, you may ask? Well, let me try to show you with this analogy:
Would you walk into someones home and comment on how something should be fixed or if something would be better in a different location? And, heavens forbid, actually MOVE said item to said new location? Or say…“Nice place…but I hate the color…if it was the same color as MY home, it would be perfect.” I hope not, dude.
A gracious host would kinda laugh with you but start to harbor some resentful feelings. If someone continued to argue why they are right (IN THE OTHER PERSON’S HOME), they would be less liked and less credible about everything. It’s the way it is, man.
Eventually, should this kind of behavior keep up, the host(s) would tire of the guest quickly and kick the guest out…never to return.
Now…in a strange way, that is what you have done in peoples opinion. You waltzed into someone elses home and did just that. In an equally strange way, a website/forum is a “home” and you, being a new person, are a guest.
The thing is that these people, in particular, can’t just boot you out themselves. So they keep trying to get you to leave, as has been already stated.
NOW, that wasn’t bad enough…to compound things, you argued and continued petty fights with the residents of the home, while the owners and landlords listened carefully.
And I think, perhaps, the owners and landlords became tired of all the incessant arguing too.
All in someone elses house, man.
Get what I’m saying, dude?
I don’t know if it’s too late to turn things around for you, however. If you are wise you can…you just must figure out how to do it (I can tell you, but if I give you the answer, it loses it’s meaning/lesson).
A long time ago (well, maybe not SO long ago) I heard a great definition for wisdom (sorry, I can’t remember where I heard it) that said something to the effect of:
To be wise, think of the STUPIDEST and most inappropriate thing you can say and do…then do the opposite.
