maybe bareflooted?

None of my floots are bare

I need shoes that I can also compete in. Plus, my stance is so wide now, I came close to setting the plates on my feet. shoes won’t be much protection when the weights heavier but it’ll be a damn sight better than bare. One of the guys I know ended up breaking his foot pulling sumo when he slid and the bar came down on his foot with several hundred pounds on it. Now I’m paranoid about it.

I was watching a video on facebook of C. doing cleans with home made bumper plates. This is the same woman whose video inspired me to learn to do zerchers off the floor. Anyway, she gave me the scoop on making your own bumper plates using car tire donuts, 2" piping and some flanges. I have a call into the guy that fixed the latch on my van. He’s taking a couple of cars to the dump and is checking for donuts to send my way.

I’m going to add home made bumper plates to my garage gym.

Are you going to be selling memberships to this strength training mecca?

I’m not selling them but there will be a select few invited. Like a private club. We can smoke cigars and whatnot.

I’m running out at lunch to Fitness Depot to grab my 5s and 2.5s. I’ll also check the bench prices.

Ouro I know your money is going to your gym… but I MUST plug the Vibrams… I LOVE them! They are super comfortable and when I pulled sumo, my feet felt so SECURE on the floor. I could push OUT against my feet without any fear of them sliding… I also love them for squatting and sprinting… just something to think about once you have equipped your gym =D

Too late with respect to cults. I’m already joining Vader’s prowler cult.

I got word from my guy. I’ve got one tire I’m picking up at lunch. He’ll call me when he’s got another. I printed Cs instruction on pipe, flanges and drilling to get them set to put on the bar.

I’d love to try them out. I need a life sponsor. Any takers? I know it isn’t as sexy as fund raising for a boob job but it’s a lot more fun.

I emailed C to ask if she photograph a close up of her assembly. Btw, miss smarty pants, there are those of us who can both sew and use power tools and build things. I was the girl that took shop in junior high and can figure these things out.

Respect. I can’t even assemble a bookshelf from Ikea.

That’s the next thing I need to work on. Getting a tire. Then I can start a tire cult.

This is starting to sound more like a dream gym than a home gym. I’m totally impressed my your industrioussness. Did Court say something about you being lazy? This project is far from lazy.

Your home gym is taking off, first a rack now a prowler…

I would suggest speed rail- aluminum pipe or steel pipe rail and the elbows joints etc
go together with a hex key. No drilling needed.

You can make all kinds of shit. Racks dip or pull up things, etc.

PS aluminum you can cut with a hack saw no big tools needed.

I have plans for apple boxes- to build up for rack pulls or partial O-lifts
pretty easy to do 2x12" remind me Ill send them.

Actually Ms. Mart, SHE called herself too lazy to be a lesbian. I just agreed.

I"m not actually getting a prowler. I was just jizzing over Vaders prowler.

Now I’ll have the rack for rack pulls. Plus I have a wooden platform I can put in it to elevate myself if the pins aren’t low enough. I also have 4 split cinder blocks that have innumerable uses.

Any other suggestions are appreciated. I don’t really want to buy anything retail. I think it’s more fun to make it when possible. I will have the key basics at any rate.

The pull up bar I’ve had in my bedroom door frame for a couple of years.

I just picked up a couple of 5s and 2.5s over lunch in addition to one tire. I compared the holes in the plates to the hole in the tire. Visually, they appear the same.

Well in that case, I think Ouroboro is underestimating herself. I could say more, but I’ll leave it at that.

So you think I’d make a bang up lesbo? Is that what you’re saying? I don’t know. I can squat till I puke but otherwise I’d prefer to lie back like a cat.

Hard work and powertools is very lesbo, so I just wanted to give you credit where credit was due. BUT straight women turned lesbian seem to be bad news, so I wouldn’t advise it.
