Okay I use some micro bead thing on my face but I’m really all about the moisturizer. That’s why I’m ‘hot’ and over 40, not ‘meh’ and over 40. I’m not wasting it on my ass though.

I haven’t done OH squats in a while. Sometimes they’re fun to do because they’re cool. Like Zerchers off the floor. I have a video on my profile doing some from March 08. btw, both cats are dead now.

I’m kind of concerned about creepy puppet guy and his extensive product knowledge. However, I’m doing my part to move the perception of female power lifters to sweet and nice smelling as opposed to hairy and stinky. It’s a team effort :slight_smile:

Uhm my wife works in the beauty biz…
and our place is filled with the stuff.
the only way to get it out of the house is to use it.

and after trying the chalk on the face , I switched it up.
I guess I need a new avatar.

That’s right. I forgot about the spousal connection to beauty products. You do have lovely skin for a freaky looking Japanese puppet thing.

Last night I found a sisal covered sponge in my basket of girly stuff. I’d never used it before. This morning I used it to exfoliate my ass and threw on the reduction cream. My butt now feels all cool and tingly.

Also, last night I started going through the M.S. mobility stuff and trying them at home since most of them weren’t familiar. I worked my way through warm-up #1 and the only one that really confuses me is the broomstick one for your pecs. It doesn’t do anything for me when I do it how its described. Anyone have any advice?

does it count that i use a long handled scrub brush thingy to get a large amount of my surface area in the shower. t-rex arms are a real bitch.

i guess it exfoliates:)

That’s right. I took all the skin off this morning. If you haven’t read the last few pages and are wondering why my ass tingles ('cause I know it’s a pressing concern for everyone) it’s an experiment using a topical fat burner that some figure competitors use.

With bikini season fast approaching I’m being vain and want to get rid of some (what I consider to be) unsightliness of the cellulite variety. Common wisdom is that you can’t spot reduce. However, I’m already on the lean side of life and don’t want to drop fat overall. I was looking to the figure ladies to see what they do because we all have body imbalances we may want to address. Hence…ass cream :slight_smile:

It could just be that you aren’t tight through the chest at the moment… I hold for a second at the top of the movement and my chest feels amazing. Wait… you’re talking about the rowing sort of motion right? As if you’re paddling a canoe but raising your arm to 11 o’clock ish?

Yeah, the one you stand with one foot in front of the other, the palm of one hand on the butt of the broom stick and the other midway down the shaft. Then you push it to the 10 o’clock position. The most I get out of that is a great big tool like feeling. I don’t feel stretching anywhere, never mind my pecs.

After all the long reading I have some comments and questions…

-Will you send me a copy of your spread sheet where you have manipulated Max strength? I loved it so much that in the future it would be fun to do a more intense version.

-I didn’t feel the stretch with the broomstick until more recently. I thought I was doing it wrong too. I haven’t changed the way I do it now, so I’m sure Court is right, it may have to do with not being tight there.

I’ll keep trying with the broomstick. So far I feel like a super cool ninja. I kind of reminds me of the first halloween my ex husband and I were together and I accidently broke his pirate sword doing ninja stuff.

I don’t think the ass cream is working yet but I think it takes a while. I should take some pictures to see if I can track the change. Then I can have them made into playing cards and do that time-lapse photography trick.

If you have ever watched the magnificent mobility DVD that is what I do,
more of the same then what is the book.

this broomstick rowing thingy Is weird,
I really feel it today, because I pressed yesterday, but I don’t do it frequently.

But I am all for feeling like a catalog ninja.

the rotational part Is painful.
I try to choke my grip closer as I work…
moving my hands as close as I can
