Plus their weather looks like complete and unadulterated shite lately. It’s pretty nice here. Saturday will be 22 degrees Celsius so shorts all round.
On the topic of shorts, I bought some new ones at Old Navy. Wasn’t I surprised to discover I wear a size 2 in their stores. Talk about vanity sizing.
Its shite here too, I am supposed to be using a roto tiller this week, at the “weekend” house but the weather is conspiring against me
its 8 degrees celsius here so no shorts here
size 2 is tiny- what color?
the vanity sizes are for fat guys to have size 30 pants.
my glutes are toast from yesterday.

What is a ‘weekend’ house? Is that like a cottage? That always sounded like way too much work to me. What does a roto tiller do? That sounds very manly and complicated
That reminds me, I have to find a place to service my lawnmower engine. Last summer I was going through spark plugs like they were smarties.
Vanity sizes are for women as well. Size two at Old Navy isn’t particularly small. I think it’s ridiculous. The shorts are: denim, purple and a khaki pair. They look damn good. Short, shorts. None of those soccer mom, walking shorts for this lady.
Who was toasting your ass?
So you need to work on your knee wrapping skills and learn to seat a bench shirt.

Holy crazy weather batman! I hope you’re not saying that in an effort to entice him to your side of the country to handle you.
PMPM I was in denver for an entire month…
for DNC
little did I know.
Ass shrinking cream???!!! I want some!
I like zercher squats. I have to bring the bar from the floor. I have to wrap a towel around the bar, then keep in place with wrist weights so it doesn’t hurt my arms. I didn’t like them at first… but love them now.

The weekend house is bigger then a cottage- when you live in a NYC 400 sq foot apartment you need to branch out.
there are all kinds of many GPP stuff here, wheel barrows, chainsaws, shovels etc I get my country on.
A rototiller is like a mini plow thing with spiked wheels that turns over the soil
do you have Agway up North- they usually fix mowers etc.
Short shorts are nice, and here you are trying to use ass vanishing cream. Dont do it.
I think the most I can do it cargo’s I have decent legs, ugly knees.
I can jack a shirt. Wraps- needs work.
and PMPM is exactly trying that.
as far as toating my ass, it was yesterdays work out…
I have a log on the old fart section.

S’alright, I spent most of the DNC hiding from the dudes in the SWAT uniforms with the big guns. Surreal!

I spent all my time getting bullied by said swat types…
too many guns, inside the convention and at invesco field snipers galore.
they always were examining my bag, tool bag, toolbelt etc, then a bunch of them stayed our hotel and got drunk rowdy.
I stayed in the tech center and trained at a tiny gym owned by a very off season female bodybuilder.
Im glad O is ok with us hi-jacking her training log. She is cool like that.
now to help her out I will guess this is vinyl wall paper,
how big is the repeat, and is the kitchen primed.

No Agway up here. I checked it out. There used to be a guy near me but he went out of business or moved or something. Regardless, I have to get it fixed. I have a fair sized yard that is still covered in maple leaves from last fall. I have a huge maple that is over 4’ thick at the base and last fall I was quite the rebel and didn’t rake. I decided to leave them be and mulch it in the spring rather than doing the anal retentive, white, middle class stupidity of raking, throwing out the leaves and then paying for fertilizer and mulch in the spring.
Is it okay if I show up at your weekend home and watch you do your GPP? Chainsaws are cool. In fact any large power tool is (shut up everyone). I once cut down a large overgrown pussy willow with a reciprocating saw. Good times.
What are you and PMPM talking about with the guns and stuff in Denver?

hmm I guess I can start with Denver , Denver played host to the
Democratic National Convention where Barack Obama accepted
the party’ nomination, and the worlds largest cops arrived to protect him, us whom ever.
lots of big dudes lots of big guns.
these where the smallest cops in Denver these are my goofy coworkers from that gig

Sure you can visit the weekend place its not a ong drive from Canada
only 2.5 hours northwest of NYC.
Lots of Nature, no TV and No insulation so you have to bundle up.
here is some gpp round the house

here is part II of the GPP

and what it ended up like…
see its a nice place for a weekend.

Wow. That looks very serene and restful. Do you get a lot of deer and small game roaming through?
My yard is a tangle of perennial plants. I’m not much for structure and I like the look of big flowers and overgrowth. I’ve had deer come off the escarpment and eat the tops off my tulips. The bastards.
The deer are bastards they ate our Holly,
and a ton of other stuff.
we have seen rabits a fox, a skunk or two
wood chuck, wild turkeys, too many deer ,
even black bear tracks.
Yes it is peaceful- its good to recharge after work to relax for a few days.
Im there ( here) now, waiting for the rain to stop, but keeping busy with some plastering.
hmm so you liked the greenery but not the jackhammer.

Of course the jack hammer is super cool. I just tend to notice the greenery. My long term goal/dream is to have a small house in the woods around the area I live in. I’m working my way towards living with one ass cheek off the grid and becoming a feminine Grizzly Adams.
That is the plan for the weekend house,
I love NYC I grew up there but its full of rich idiots , the slow down in the economy is enough for me to rethink-
we are on just under two acres - good for privacy and gardens
its more about dropping out of the rat race.
