So do I. It just means I don’t have to go shopping. One of my employers is the same size as me and regularly revamps her wardrobe getting rid of clothes I like and brands I can’t afford. I’d rather wear hand-me-down work clothes and get a new centurion squat suit.

If it weren’t for my coach having buckets of old squat and DL suits, bench shirts, wraps, and belts, I don’t think I would’ve ever competed. I am only now moving out of the hand-me-downs.

Bill has tons of old stuff. Sadly, it’s all sized to fit the super fat bastard weight class. I tried the smallest shirt on once and I could have fit my two kids and the cat in it with me.

I’m trying to network and meet more women. Not to use them for their old equipment but I find it more relevent to what I’m doing.

After the gym, I went to Popeyes to get some fat burners. I’m up a couple of pounds and already paranoid about making weight since I haven’t changed my diet. I don’t want to do a PMPM in a month spitting in a cup and whatnot. (PMPM you’re story is my new cautionary tale) I like to stress early.

While there, I was gabbing with the guy and ended up having a fun chat with him. He loved that I do powerlifting. He asked if I could bring a picture in for their store because they like to post action shots of customers and don’t have many of women. He was quite the cutie too. He made have even been marginally older than 21.

The fat burner contains dandelion which is a diuretic so hopefully it will help. I don’t care if it’s fat or water or a hair cut that gives met the right weight.

It’s not like I gave him head when there was an awkward pause in conversation or something. He may have found it odd when I licked his chest but he did ask for a picture.

I’m not sure why my weight is up. I haven’t really been indulging in any Christmas festivities. This is despite all the chocolate we made as gifts.
We made some kickass varieties this year. One is a mix of candied orange peel, cashews and caramels. It sounds weird but tastes amazing. Okay so I tasted a bite of it. We also did milk chocolate with jalapeno peanuts and dark chocolate with crushed candy canes.

The kind of fat burner cute guy recommended is called Sub-Q. We’ll see if it helps.

Since I’ve been at my commercial gym since last February, I’ve only had a temporary card. Today the manager said he would get me a proper card so I could use the other locations in Toronto because ours has been closed on Sundays for a while.

He said they needed a photo of me to use in their system. I said no. No one uses pictures of me in their computers expect a few government offices. It’s just one of my rules. It may not make sense but it is what it is.

He said he couldn’t give me the card if I didn’t have a picture. I got pretty angry. The new manager is one of those soft types that look like they’ve never lifted a weight in their life and I’ve wanted to punch him in the head since he started there a couple months ago.

My instinct was to push his head in the toilet until he did what I wanted. Regardless, it got heated and I did a fair amount of yelling. It’s funny how my temper went from 0 to 60 in about 2 seconds. I generally feel ultra aggressive after I train and that isn’t the time to piss me off.

I left after telling him to get off his fat ass and start calling people to find out how to get me what I wanted.

I called him when I got home and had calmed down. However, it was to reiterate my point. The gym is a dump and is unsafe. I’ve tolerated it because they had good staff. Now they don’t and are closed on Sundays. I made him listen without interupting me and told him I felt like Premier was fucking me without the romance and told him what I wanted from them. He agreed with my points. I said I’d be in Monday night and they better have something to make me feel better about staying with their company.

If they don’t, I will make him wish I’d put his head in the toilet. I’ve gone toe-to-toe with banks, telcos and large box stores and I typically get what I want because very few people fight for their rights and they don’t know what to do with those that do.

I am the same way after training, very freaking aggressive, tired and usually starving. But I do need to change my whole internet/cable package in January, maybe I’ll have you make the call LOL.
My OL coach never had us doing more than triples on any lifts after a broom stick warm up.

Cut the volume and you’ll hit the 125, I’m sure. You sure can go heavy on the GM’s. I do 5x5@95lbs after squatting, and by then I’m pretty much done in.

My boss was spotting and he was very distracting, making sex jokes and talking with his paisans while I tried to concentrate. He finds I’m wasting my time power lifting.

Niagara is coming up fast, my head has not been in it with the holidays and my work schedule. It takes my legs forever to recover these days because I’m walking/standing demonstrating exercises all day and it gets tiring. I’ve got work and holiday shit everyday/night until next Friday. Fuck I wish it was done with.

Congratulations on the 120 bench. The most I’ve ever hit was 115 and I never hit it again. Maybe I’ll get it this cycle. Everything’s been getting stronger. Including my temper.

That’s too bad about your boss being distracting. Good spotters are so important not just for a safety factor.

I bet you are right about lowing the volume on the cleans. I may try it. I really just do it as an assistance to strenthen my back but I enjoy the dymanic feel of it. When you were doing OL, what were your lifts like? I’ve tried snatching a few times but only done it very light. It’s kind of cool and scary at the same time.

4 weeks to Niagara. I’m waiting for my larger shirt but I have a feeling I’ll be shirtless this time. I’m also waiting for my Centurion. I may or may not use it. We’ll see how it goes.

Once the holidays are over, we’ll all get our heads back into it.

The gym was kind of crowded today and there were even other women in the weight room. Typically, it isn’t unusual for me to be the only person (never mind woman) in the room. This must be the thin edge of the wedge of the new year’s resolution people. The nice part of my gym being so dumpy is that there isn’t even any good scenery to entice people to come in so I expect it to die out soon.

My back is still bothering me. This wasn’t helped by work today. I had to measure and partially redraw a blueprint that was on paper so big I could only open it on the boardroom table and had to measure it standing up bending over.

Tomorrow I’m going for a massage since my chiro is on vacation. The masseur is part of the same practice. I wonder if he could make it a happy ending one since it’s Christmas. I bet that would improve my mood significantly.

So I went for my massage today. In fact, I just got in the door. It was lovely. He looked at my back and hips and did a lot of work and suggested more exercises to tighten my hips so I don’t continue to get the problem. He thinks it was an over contraction of the muscle.

He massaged everything including my face. It was better than a happy endings massage. It was an hour of guilt free star fishing.

I was kind of sad today because my new suit and shirt didn’t arrive in the mail. I swear I went out 20 times to check and had my nose pressed against the window waiting for the mail man. No joy.

I went on a bit of a field trip today. I went to my commercial gym but to a different location. The difference is like night and day. This one is like a spa. The women’s changerooms are beautiful with blow dryers, multiple, lit mirrors and vanities. There are private showers and everything.

The equipment is pristine and tidy with plenty of everything. The only drawback is that it seems like a bit of a meat market. There were multiple douchebagesque guys sporting beaters. When I was doing pullups, some Jojo tried to strike up a conversation about my new years. When he asked if I went out I just said ‘no.’

I think I may go there from time to time. I like to switch things up a bit now and then. Who knows, maybe someday I’ll feel like entertaining the meat market guys with chat about new years. At my regular commercial gym no one says anything when I put on my squat suit from time to time.

(Maybe that’s because I almost killed the manager…who knows) Based on how pretty the outfits at this place are, I’ll likely get looks.

As fun as it was, I didn’t feel that strong. I had a hot stitch in my side the entire time.

There was a guy doing this at my gym yesterday too. He was grunting like crazy. When I walked by to grab a guy to spot me, I saw he only had what I later added to 165lbs. It was funny because he was putting some much pressure on the bar to sit back that he was shaking on the way down. Douchebags.

As for all the prettiness and such, I think all the resolutioners have started to arrive. I’ve never seen so many clean, bright sneakers and workout gloves in the gym. Not to mention people wandering around like they’re lost and looking at me like I’m retarded… granted I’m wrapping my knees and putting on a pink belt, but still.

I got a pretty new outfit too. Maybe that’s why buddy was all interested in my new year’s. Maybe it was my totally sexy squat shoes. I know I’d want to do someone sporting a pair of those bad boys. I got an underarmour shirt and Adidas shorts for $20 each.

My sister gave me a gift certificate to Sport Chek for Christmas. I lost my black shorts that I wear all the time. The ones that were pants I cut off. How the hell do you lose your pants. If Chad shows up Sunday wearing them, I’ll be super pissed.
