…and this is what I got up too this weekend
(Should be set to public)
damn, where’s that? Scotland? Beautiful, I love that kinda misty look.
Do you live anywhere near London? Watched any O-lifting?
It was Mt Snowdon - tallest in Wales, 3rd in Britain. I live in SE london, so the venues are only short train rides away, but i didn’t get any tickets for anything.
Well, I’m back after a week. I managed somehow to do some soft tissue damage or bruised a bone in my left foot near my heel on sunday, which makes walking painful. But now its ok to stand on and do gym stuff and drive. walking isnt great though.
Going to keep with the DB C+P and DB row with the smolov meso template, cos its fun. And now alternate Deads with GMs/Front squats, with back squatting mixed in there, with a high volume template 6-2 rep etc.
fat grip DB C+P 27.5kg 4x9
DB row 62.5kg 4x9
will be doing BTNPP or BB Clean+Press after these, e.g. 3x3.
Nice pics bro.
Reminds me of scotland.

I’ve always wanted to go across Crib Goch - it doesn’t look as menacing as people make it out to be? Are you good with heights?
You need a good head for heights, as in places it only useably 1ft wide with 1000ft drop either side. And only go up in good weather with low wind. Definetly go in a group. apart from that its the best way up the mountain
Went to bed with serious pain in my foot, woke up completely healed - wtf?
Anyway, worked all day then trained on 3 small sustainer and 1 Ignition shake (those who have read Carb Backloading will know what those are - fuck all calories and 2g of caffeine)
PM: Muscle snatch 60kg 3x3 - getting the hang of these
Front squat 105kg 5x3, then worked up to 135kg x1 easy
Good mornings 65kg 5x10 - working that sexy ass
Back squat 105kg x20 - not even challenging
There was a fucking sexy woman training tonight, imagine a 5ft 4" Valkyrie with amazing hips and glutes, damn. Incredibly distracting. And she is the first woman I’ve seen down there actually training, too.
Also, listen too this:
Doing those muscle snatches as wide grip upright rows to OHP or as snatch pull to OHP, if you know what I mean?
And that song fuckin rocks.
well, they’re more like hang power snatches with atrocious form
On third day of carb depletion for the Carb-backloading diet. Foots been playing up again, think its an inflamed tendon
DB C+P 26kg 10x5 - easy
BB OHP 60kg 3x6
pullups and rear flyes and stuff
DB row 65kg 10x5
did pushups etc in between sets, including 2x10 60kg BTNPP
Fun
this is great

Bring it tweetie pie!
Ok - Thursday, first deadlifting in ages, 165kg 5x5 then worked up to 205kg x1. felt super awkward and it felt like I couldn’t generate enough power off the floor. This seriously bummed me out.
Saturday (today)
BB muscle snatch x3 40/50/60kg - getting there with form
FG DB C+P 28kg 10x4 - easy
DB snatch 40kg 10x1 - did these in between presses, easy
BB OHP 61.5kg 3x6
Dips 3x5
Pullups 8/7/6
Jolly good session today
Pull:
Pullups and dips to warm up
DB rows 67.5kg 5x5, 60kg x12, 55kg x12, 50kg x20
BTNPP, singles - worked up to a solid 95kg x1
50kg DB farmers walk 25m x3
Curls
Back squat 145kg 5x5 - light
Front squat 95kg 6x6 - starting to really nail the form
Good mornings 6x6 80kg
Pullups 5x5
starting a cycle of:
75% 5x5
80% 4x4
85% 3x3
90% 2x2
for the main lifts - dead, squat, OHP, BTNPP
And
65% 7x7
70% 6x6
75% 5x5
For F squat, GMs, DB rows etc
Yo caveboy,
Just a quick question. Do you use the valsalva breathing method while squatting? Elaborate.
